There is the dump trailer again that dougo said you would never use. Handy gadget to have apparently.
You probably hear this enough, but you have the best ag channel I've seen. Informative and entertaining without all the extra garbage of using every way possible to make more off your viewers. Thanks!
Check out bcp farm and trucking or straight pipe acres or mike Mitchell
Good channel. Wish they put more videos out.
Tony fast, welkers
@@Bigstrapper Yes, I like Fast Ag.
Great to see your uncle in more videos like his added clips , you doing a great job with the videos 👍
The drone shots really give perspective on the scope of this project. Wow.
Quote of the episode, "I've been watching Gold Rush quite a bit, I should know how to run this" Big Swede.
Never get tired of watching these guys at work & play!
Love your channel and how you all explain everything your doing.
Thanks for putting the date in the video. Been asking and you did. Thanks again
Erik proves he can do it all. Brody wishing Doug had bought that fire truck to wash equipment. Chet dreaming about a swimming pool.
They all laughed when you bought that dump cart lol
Nobody should cheer on a go-cart
It just seems like you guys get to have all the fun. It is good to have humor when dealing with water.
another awesome video chet keep them coming we all appreciate you sharing with us!!
Great times all around😁 Sir Dougo was enjoying his time digging the hole!!! Keep up the great work and fun times!!!!
Challenges aren't always to be overcome immediately, trust in yourself and just go as far as possible. Great video!
Wow, all 3 of those were amazing. I can’t wait to try them. 👏🏻
Brodie just looking at all the washing he's gonna have to do 🤣🤣🤣
good old bob cat needs a little grease lol Love your videos!!! always puts a smile on my face when you guys upload!!!
Duogo, Don't worry about things you have no control over.
Thanks for another great video Chet and everyone.
It was interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Thanks for the drone footage of the bin project. That was most interesting. Gives you an idea of what is going on. Thanks.
You folks are moving a lot of dirt and clay to make this bin project work. Wow.
With all the machinery working hard you are getting it done. Hope your sump pump keeps working to pull out the water.
That is one big hole for a big grain bin. Wow.
The hitch on the dirt wagon is holding up. Yeah.
Eric you got the cover crop of wheat spread. That should work good I would think. Interesting to keep an eye on it. Cover crop should help that area.
This bin project is most interesting. Huge hole you dug. Not have to put the gravel in and pack it real good. Big project.
Thanks for everything Chet and crew.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
No B. S. about the Sweede he really knows his farming as well as the Larson Team, GoOD On To All Our Farmers 🚜
The Dump cart did not break, thats new!😂
Have to do it Fla. style, rim ditch and pumps 🤔 love the assortment of "toys" you's guy have to choose from.
You guys are awesome doing the job yourself and learning at the same time
Wow. 2ft of black dirt in the yard. We are lucky to farm in 6 inches of black dirt in the SD prairie!
awesome video guys. Thank you
Thanks 👍
Gotta love playing in the mud.
I managed to bury my Bobcat 864G so bad I had to call a friend from over an hour away to drag me out.
That was a wide track, low ground pressure track and I almost buried my machine.
What a great and humbling experience. 😢
@@davidclaudy4822 yea, that's not at all good when that happens.
@@anthonyhengst2908 My good friend made me pay for his help over many years and many beers. It was all good, but damn? I just couldn’t imagine my machine getting mired so badly. We all had a laugh afterwards, but I toned down my level of confidence a few notches after that episode. 🤣
Brody won't like the cleanup though
Dumpy to the rescue again! Remember when someone said there wasn't a need for her? 😂 Anither good decision Chet!
If you need to sow cover crops, it will save the farm money to do it, rather than spend a lot on expensive chemicals to kill the weeds that surely will take over!! By the way Eric, as always, your explanation hits the spot, bang on! Chet, damn good idea using autosteer. Everybody did a good job today, so hopefully things don't get worse than expected. Thanks from UK.
I like watching these videos of Larson Farms I think it's very cool and they are all good to I would like to meet the Larson's
Yes, your information is valuable.
Nice big swimming you'll have there
Great job. Will be interesting watching progress. Thanks for sharing.
Dougo ~ the saying is, “Don’t borrow sorrow.”
That was a cool video and it’s funny no one else wanted to buy in on that dump cart with you Chet it’s been used so much bet ur loving that purchase now
I had a baseball game in Wheaton the other day and on the way by the Kibble dealer I’m pretty sure I saw that 8rx on the lot. At first I was confused but after watching them pick it up off your guys yard I figured it out. Hope the bin dirt work goes better than how its going right now!! 👍
Amazing Video Chet and Larson Farms!!!
Chet Dougo Eric Broodie that was great enjoyed itthe tile line start filling to stay ahead of water and get tile line in
If the dump cart hitch breaks, I’m out! 😂
Brodie will have to clean up for days after the dig.
I remember seeing someone plant a winter wheat crop with a proforce spreader it seemed to work OK. 😊
The Minnesota department of natural resources says… Minnesota is considered to have abundant water resources, but groundwater is not evenly distributed across the state. The Minnesota Groundwater Provinces map summarizes regional differences in aquifers and groundwater resources.
“Provinces 2 (South-central) and 5 (Western)
The glacial sediment in these provinces is typically fine-grained (e.g., clay and silt) and may contain only limited extents of surficial and buried sand aquifers. Province 2 contains sedimentary bedrock aquifers that are commonly used. Province 5 contains fractured bedrock commonly buried deeply beneath glacial sediment and is of limited use as an aquifer.”
Hate to see Dougos Cadillac leave the farm, I think he really liked that tractor. WOW, I'd say you have your time and work cut out for you with diverting all the water on that project.
We had 544c 544d and 544e we sawmilled with and loaded logs out in the woods too back in the 80s
Don't worry about today when you have all of tomorrow to worry about it
Very interesting project. The scope of the projects you take on is amazing.
Boys, welcome to the club😂 we been fighting the rain and mud building a new leg of highway 50 that runs across the country, we are making it 4 lane thru the little town in southern Indiana, I had 500 tons of fill dirt hauled in, and right when we dump the last load it came a down pour 2” in less than an hour!!! Needless to say we had to load it all back up and haul it off😔 it wouldn’t meet compaction or moisture testing 🙄 it was a kick in the bean bag for sure, but you just gotta start over.💪 no quit!
Good job guys and good luck
I watch your channel every time you post. Great variety of content. I really like that farm American flag in the office..
What a huge project.
It is very apparent that y’all ain’t in south Alabama cause on the coldest of cold days in July you will never need a hoodie!!! We went to a baseball game and it was raining,we were sweating standing under a covered top today
Look at it this way. You did not have to drive in huge I beams under the slab. I have seen huge holes dug, the 100 foot I beams driven in befor 40 foot concrete slabs poured. Just for a little steel mill.😊
Not a bad idea if it works and I know it will work for a cover crop.
You guys are doing a great job on this. Cool video. 👍❤️
What a mess for you guys to work in!! Have fun playing in the mudbox,,,,
love it
good job. we just built a 250bu ben. dug 12 ft.
Yes
What about planting rice!?
That's funny
I can honestly say I have zero erosion problems in my cover crop fields despite all the rain.
Chet run a gullie lower than the grade for water to run out of the hole if it rains it will run to the gullie then use a pump to pump out water, when done just back fill.
Remember that water always finds its level when contained like in a pond lake or ocean SEA LEVEL AGAIN---
Might want to get some advice from Cole the Corn Star on site prep 😆😂😆😂😆😂😆
“By the time you get back it will be 100 feet deep”. Lolz
Thank you 😊
Dougo did not want to drag a planter thru another wet spot this spring huh.....lol
The team work and vesitility of your crew always amazes me
Chet,”I think you’re going to need a bigger pump”😮
Could you use the clay to widen approaches??
It’s very hot here in Iowa today 90 degrees and feels like 109
Very humid
Awesome video guys, a bit muddy tho. 🚜🚜🚜
When it rains it pours struggle bus is real😊
I actually sensed frustration when having to go back instead of plant
Team Larson 🚜🏁
Boy watching this video brings back memories of pumping water out of footings. Than having dirt police tell me I can’t pump the dirty water out unless you can see three fingers thru a clean glass.
The Swed Reminds me of the Only Farmer "Dating Site" Commercial
😂😂😂😂😂😂
(Sorry Swed..... I just had too)
I am so jealous wish I was working for this family.
Great content guys, keep up the great work!
Magnifique vidéo et le terrassement du cilo pour les céréales 😂😮😅😊
Only a question the new option of flying drones to spray crops and possibly spread wheat or maybe something else that you might want to try. Especially if conditions are wet to get things sprayed. Millennial farmer just got a demonstration.
Drones are 2 small for spraying fields the size these guys have.
It world work for small spots.
Never seen 1 for spreading seed though.
Which weather app forecast do you actually trust more than 2 days out?
All of them because there all wrong
The new bin going to be in the way of the driveway?
Here I sit in Arizona wildfires burning everywhere and no rain in the forecast. 🌞🌵🌵😎🔥🔥
Waving a hand from texas
does anyone in that area use buckwheat as a cover crop that gets tilled back in right when it flowered out ? I did it 3 years on a garden in OH and it really blanked out some weed problems. Just curious how that all works in the mix erik called out.
FYI u do cover crop in the winter
There’s a reason why the conditions aren’t the best is because it rained last night into early morning today
Putting up a big bin, you must have Cargill as landlord.
Good stuff guys😊😊😊😊
Oh the bobcat is crying for grease. One or more pins are dry.
Not sure why there would be any “Hate” comments for doing something that will help with erosion issues
This episode was approved by Farmyard Foreman Toby and especially Farmwife Jean Marie.
Dougo I believe you’re looking for Matthew 6:34 “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Good shit lads
Use the clay to Build a pond for Toby to play in
If it doesn’t grow plant sorghum for hay
I'll take ur water in tennessee
You guys are digging a deep pond to go muding😂
Wheres Dougs road scraper??!!
so what will you use that huge compressed ramp-pad of clay you are dumping at for? Moving that in the future will be a nightmare
