  • It seems to work. There was more brutal testing, repeated strikes with maximum effort but it didn't record for some reason. Anyway, I think I'll keep it.

you've done a really nice job with it. awkward buggers of axes to swing on the 36" though eh! Really hard to get some head speed into it, like starting a car in 5th I found lol. Main reason I sold mine. Might be better on a shorter handle but you'd have to custom make one to fit the eye.

It finished just a bit longer than the Arvika, so not too bad, altho I think I'd like the arvika to be a bit shorter and a lot thinner haha. I make you right it's not quick but it makes a big impact, I'll see how I feel after the honeymoon ...

where's about's are you Roger? annoyingly watching your vids in reverse haha. You're churning out the axe content!
i could potentially make you a handle blank if ever you decide to put this elwell on a shorter handle.
i personally run mine on 30"-31" for this biggun's

I'm in Gatwick area. Re: videos, Yeah I've got a whole lot of not much to say and no ability or desire to sell myself haha! As for the handle I'm OK with this one for now, it feels lively and good to use and not excessively long but I am thinking of rehanging my arvika a bit shorter... and obvs I would be pleased to have an O.J. Chipson handle 😁
