- i got this first try, sub 8 is possible but you probably have to just not stop idk, a lot of times in the run my hands were super sweaty and i probably wasted time wiping them

I'm surprised that the eclipse ending actually made it into the game
yes but some cool effects were removed, such as the rotating of the tower in the ending animation and even the cool thing clloy added to choose the music u would have wanted to hear in the final stretch got removed sadly.

They did infact make the tower -- This means they had to playtest the entire thing REPEATEDLY. This can act as practice for people. An example of this happening is Urchin completing his tower, Panelling Barricades, which was terrifying difficulty a the time, fully legit while his hardest was an intense-remorseless.
