i'm currently making a bunch of granny squares and my original plan was to make a top. then i changed my mind to make a skirt instead, but now i'm leaning towards making a pillow instead...😃

A tip for standing and crochet/knitting is to use a drawstring bag and put ur yarn in there and feed the ends through the opening ❤️❤️ hope this helps someone 👍

I am making some granny square and my original plan was to make a long sleeve top, but midway I changed my mind and now it’s going to be a dress - and for that i’ll need waaaaay more than I thought

I'd add a few rows to make sure we see the granny squares perfectly. If the 2-inch part you put an elastic into was added rows, we'd see every single granny square and it would be even better, It's beautiful and I love the colours though!!!

The only thing that I have ever crocheted was a pink variegated afghan for my baby girl when I was 20, 42 years ago and it was one continuous square. I was so proud of myself that I wouldn’t use it, I hung it on the wall.

that pillowcase skirt looks great on you. well done. I have never completed a project with granny squares because weaving in all the ends is too annoying for me. but I like watching you do it and your projects with them always look so good. you're fun to watch and I really enjoy your videos. 💋💋💋 to Benson.
Have you tried securing the ends while crocheting, so just incorporatimg the end of the last colour into the bottom of the next round? Don't know if you'll get what I mean XD That won't save you from all the weaving in but a good portion of it although it can be a bit annoying while crocheting

You could buy any pillow at the thrift store and take the case off for an “inside pillow” 🙂

One time I made like 28 granny squares to make some overalls and then i scrapped that idea and instead made a bag and now i have 14 extra granny squares lol i love how versatile granny squares are 😂
