As an Aussie myself this story unfortunately isn’t very well known here but it bloody should be! We’ve had mass sightings like this one and Westall 66 and yet no one seems to really show any interest unless you’re into the subject.

Those who are well read in UFology like myself know very well the accounts you mentioned. Westall66 is very well known. I'm Canadian and been interested in the subject since I was a kid. You'll seldom find any serious discussion on these encounters in the mainstream media.

One of the things that bothers me the most about the story is that I’ve never heard it before. Especially considering this is one of the most believable/credible incidents of this nature. It’s downright bizarre to have received such little coverage.

finally someone has do the Kelly Cahill story. Ive known about this for years and always hoped someone would do it.
Normally I prefer ghost stories to UFOs, but this one was actually pretty spooky!
I think it's all connected - Power of the mind.
I personally manifested a ufo so I am so confused with reality.
Ebook version can be found. No reason to pay the ludicrous prices unless you're a collector. I'm reading the ebook right now and it reads more like a novel by an aspiring writer. After her "experience" Kelly Cahill was big on the UFO scene giving talks until 1998 when she disappeared. Over the subsequent decades (30 years now), she divorced, left Australia, and returned to Australia. She refuses interviews. Kelly's story was embellished many times as she kept adding more tidbits to the story during her talks (recollecting more or inventing more?). What was actually revealed in the report was a cut down report and full of holes. None of the other alleged eyewitnesses ever came forward (who can blame them if this is a real incident).
Can you recall some of the things she said, that weren't mentioned in the episode? Maybe something very outlandish. Lol outlandish in the land of UFO's 😆
Fwiw, memories comes back in pieces. Even if you think you remember the whole thing, more details will reveal themselves, often triggered by questions, and just about anything else. They manipulate your memory! They even manipulate time! It is truly incomprehensible. For sure she continued being abducted, confusing all the memories together….Many abductees have a hard time with their lives and keeping solid relationships. 😢 Heck, most of humanity seems that way these days.

Thank you BTS. There is an incident in Vienna, Austria on New Years Eve 2017-2018 witnessed to by at least two dozen people. We were in a plaza with other revelers ringing in the New Year. There were maybe 100 congregants milling about. I was in my little group of 8-10 people. Three or four meters away was another group like our own. I had just noticed two attractive women in their early thirties in that group and the exchange of glances suggested flirtation had just begun. From behind me I heard one of the girls in our group exclaim. "Look up there. Whats that?!" And another girl respond with. "Hey, it's a UFO!" At the same time the women I had begun flirting with, and their group, were looking up at the sky, and one of them was pointing something out to her companion. I looked up in their direction and saw a sphere about three meters in diameter hovering about three hundred feet up. It was red in color with a bright neon blue corona surrounding it. It glided silently over the crowd. It moved from my right towards the center of the plaza for about thirty or forty seconds, more people had taken notice of it. It paused for a moment, floating above the crowd motionless in the light wind, then it picked up speed and headed west towards the Alps. It went from zero to a few hundred mph in two seconds, until, in just an instant it was gone.

I am from Brno (Brünn), Czech republic and saw the very same thing 9 years ago right in the middle of my densely populated neighborhood. Red Orb (3m in diameter) flying silently above rooftops of local condominiums. It was pretty close - probably 100m away from me. Strange thing was there was no one in the street at that moment. And a year later, I had these life-like nightmares 5 nights in a row when I was visited, paralyzed and tranquilized by some kind of fragile humanoid being with weird head and long fingers. It was in the middle of the night, I could see only a shadow. I almost went insane after those 5 days. Wanted to commit a suicide.
As an Australian I love to see content on Australia. Sadly be it UFO's, criptids or Ghosts there isn't enough content on Australia (on CZcams as a whole)! I hope there will be plenty more to come!

I grew up not far from the Dandenong Mountains.. I could see them from my bedroom window.. I had a frightening experience with a shadow person standing outside my window.. it just appeared. And it stood there for a long time.. I got the impression if this thing knew I could see it.. something bad or would happen to me. I was frozen with fear. That I could not even move or even blink my eyes... something about it was not human.. I've never forgotten this. For a long time I kept it to myself.. but now I tell everybody. That the world is not what you think it is.. I am a good artist.. and I could draw it exactly burnt into my memory.. world is a strange place.. I have been fascinated with the paranormal Bigfoot UFOs anything to do with this field I could say I'm a bit of an expert I'll be honest. As I have a insatiable appetite for a strange and weed stories.. I love your podcast keep up the good work
This was the best episode of Bedtime Stories in a long time! It's stories like this that make me sway a bit in my skeptical convictions. I will never call myself an atheist or non-believer thanks to stories like this one. There's just too much strangeness in the world for me to fully embrace an entirely materialistic worldview. I'd like to believe there is no such thing as a supernatural evil lurking just beyond and even within our own reality, but like you said in the video, what if?

I live in Dandenong, two suburbs from where the Westall mass UFO sighting happened in 1966 and right near the foot of the Dandenong Ranges. I owned Kelly's book as a teen. Was a creepy read.
I will say this is one of the most frightening episodes in a while, and the accompanying artwork really established the ominous imagery!!

Yes, it was on Today Tonight in the 90s then Kelly (not her real name) disappeared from public view when she realised she was going to be the only one coming forward. One of the people in the other car was pretty well known in Melbourne and didn't want the story to come out. Kelly didn't want to be the centre of attention for the case so she went quiet too. I heard she now lives back here in Gippsland.

No, aliens can speak in any language. Also, they only communicate to you telepathically, you hear the voice in your head. That’s why I was confused in this case because it gave the impression the alien was vocalizing the words. So maybe they were demons because aliens don’t vocalize at all.

I have a book called the field guide to Extraterrestrial's and this story along with a drawing of the aliens is in it!! Kelly said that the when she saw the beings in the field and they were standing over them that "The creature was black, not the colour black but it's as if someone had cut a hole in matter where he stood or as if he himself was a hole in space"!! She was also quoted as saying she had a sense the beings were evil and had no souls!!

HOLY SHIT!!! I never thought there’d be a story about something so close to home, I’m literally 15-20 minute drive to the Dandenong ranges, when I was younger me and my friends would get high/drunk and cruise the Dandenongs at night time doing stupid shit lol 😁😮💨😵💫
We even broke into a reservoir dam where they have a beautiful park & lake, there were like 10-12 of us and we had a barbecue at 2 o’clock in the morning…glad we didn’t run into any weird shit. 😅P.S Belgrave-Hallam Road is the next exit from the freeway from me, I live in Narre Warren, a suburb close to this incident but this is the first time I’m hearing about this incident!!! 🤔

There used to be a great blog called Weird Australia that collected lots and lots of UFO, ghost and cryptid stories I've rarely seen anywhere else. But sadly it seems to have disappeared in the last decade.
More or less the same scenario happend to us, but we sped away and it chased us along the road for around 6km. An oncoming truck scared it off. You tell us. We have no idea. Was a mad thing to experience.
Given our population density is extremely small of 25 million people in a large continent, I think we more prone to these stuff.

Hence their experiments upon abducting individuals, they are attempting to get the sperm and egg cells from them to continue the hybridization and create more of their type. You may not be a believer in God but either way , I would suggest that if it happens again that you tell em out loud "be gone in Jesus name". I've heard that this will sometimes make them flee. Keep saying it firmly, until they've gone.

Love your channel! I'm surprised you guys haven't done an episode about the Allagash Four. It's a pretty famous abduction case from the mid 70s here in the US (Maine to be exact). I still remember watching the episode of Unsolved Mysteries that discussed the case when I was a kid in the 90s.

I've personally been witness to the red eye shadow entity.
My experience happened when i was only 2 or 3 years old in bed with my mother and my sister. My mother was facing my sister and I while my sister and I both recall seeing the same entity. Huge bright red glowing eyes and a black misty like mass surrounding it.
My mom remembers looking at my sister and I scared because we were looking over her laying on her side as the figure was behind her. I don't remember much else but to know that there are plenty of others out there that have seen the same thing helps me feel less alone or crazy.
I’ve seen a shadow person with bright glowing red eyes. I’m picturing it right now. It was during an episode of sleep-paralysis when I was younger.
That was more likely a dream.
@@hotmetalslugs it almost certainly was a dream, even tho I was awake. It was classic sleep paralysis imagery. Just had an episode of it a week ago. I watched a shadow person come out of the wall and start crawling around. Couldn’t move or speak. I knew what was happening and just had to wait for it to end. Now this stuff is just annoying.

Have you ever been to a traveling carnival and ridden on a ride called the Gravitron, that flying-saucer shaped one where you lie back on a tilted platform and it spins, giving you the sensation of being in a centrifuge? That's what I imagine it would smell like inside an alien spacecraft. Like the smell inside an amusement park dark ride, with a whiff of laboratory sterility, strange fuel, burning rubber tires and a metallic odor you can't....quite....identify. Not entirely unpleasant, but unsettling. An unearthly smell, something that makes no sense to human olfactory senses....because it wasn't meant for humans.

When you cross heatherton rd heading to north the road curves to the right & slopes down abit then curves left and levels out straight before abeckett rd. Doesn't seem as an isolate location now

I actually suggested this story to you awhile back; however, I'm not sure if you where already planning on showing this story, either by your own idea, or from suggestions of other subscribers of your channel & that my suggestion , perhaps, came later? Either way, it's good to know that you listen to your viewers & strongly consider our suggestions. I wish your channel great success Rock on & keep up those very intriguing videos. P.s. in addition to the Cahill story, I also suggested ,awhile back, another pretty fascinating story, which was the Cape Girardeau incident. It's not just the overall content(alleged UFO crash & dead alien bodies) of the story that they will find fascinating, but the fact that it happened many years before Roswell. Hope you consider producing a video about it someday

I’ve never heard of this encounter and I’m Australian! Australia is such a huge place and not very inhabited, I’m sure we would have tonnes more stories if there were more people about. It’s a large flat landmass, perfect for landing spacecraft.
And there are traditional Aboriginal stories about “Sky gods” visiting…I’m sure we are in a country that is of interest to extra terrestrials
