- Not that Bach ;) One of the sons. However, this song is literally one of the first songs I ever loved. It rips. My parents had bought me an educational game back in the day called Treasure Mountain where you solved problems and all that. This was the theme. The force is strong in the Bach family.
Love you all. Thanks for everything.

You just prove that classical music was made to be metal.
Alot of metal is derived from classical or atleast influenced by it, so it would make sense that Classical can be metal.
Some classical music *is* metal, they just didn't know it at the time.
@@ikitclaw7146 I can't remember which song, but one of the bodom songs specifically has a small lick from Bach, I think the nail?
I always said that classical music is just metal before they had electric instruments.
especially baroque
There is definitely something about baroque keyboard music that really works in a metal guitar context! MOAR PLEASE!!!!! 😀
i read that as barbeque instead of baroque and now i'm curious what barbeque keyboard music sounds like.
Children of Bodom used this to great effect in their music.
And Running Wild, particularly in their first albums
Classic is the metal of the renaissance 😎
Rock out with your Bach out
This music was written 200 years after the renaissance ended.
@@BigAl72ZGE Stop nitpicking 😂
@@BigAl72ZGE And in the Baroque period, which is arguably rather different from the later common practice classical period.
Man, this has Castlevania vibes - just imagining Trevor Belmont facing off against Dracula to this. Great work!
Classical has always felt to me like it was the metal of it's time. The fact that it translates so well I think further supports that. Well done!
Not that Bach ;)
Underrated comment
which one? skid row’s?
I'll be bach
I was so stoked when Globe and Mail's Fraser Simpson had "Bach" in a cryptic crossword, and it was Sebastian. Wish I remembered the details. Shoulda kept that puzzle. Can-Con!
This was an instant repeat, thanks yet again Erock!
There is another?!
Holy crap, I was going to leave a comment about how this song was in a computer game I played as a kid, but then I read the description and saw that you beat me to it. Treasure Mountain FTW!
I'd say this is in your top 5 ever, fantastic work.
Such a super epic guitar cover.
I feel my adrenaline rushing through my veins.
I love Baroque classical music and metal. This is a full package for me. Thank you
This 'neo-classical' classical masterpiece just goes to prove that the great composers were TOTAL HEADBANGERS!!! Love the crisp, clean, classy guitar work on display here! Wonderful as always!
There's a surprising amount of crossover between metal fans and classical fans.
I follow you for years now and really enjoy your music but this is a masterpiece 👏
You're back!!! that's awesome!!!
You NAILED IT! Everything I've heard you do over the years is exceptional 🤘
Wow! This song appears in the intro of the song The Damnation Game by Symphony X. Now i found where it came from!!! Hahaha 🧐
Really crazy, Eric, how you come out with such amazing covers! It's irresistible. Love it! You are a true legend.... damn good job! Always team Erock! 🖤🤘😊
I always love your metallised classical pieces :) Still hoping you'll find the courage to do an arrangement of Toccata & Fugue in D Minor, I can't help but think that piece was practically written for your attention.
Speaking of Bach being metal, the Harpsichord Concerto in D minor is metal as HELL. In fact, Allegaeon (A technical melo-death band) recorded an EP with a cover of it, you should check it out.
@@drummascooterman Damn, that's beautiful, thanks for the recommendation! I used to use J.S. Bach's "Little" Fugue in G Minor for organ as a bass guitar warm-up, but I never got to Allegaeon levels that's for sure!
He did it
@@yoltoor6281 I know, I was onto that video like a shot when it went up lol. I was not disappointed!
This is amazing!! Need more of this without question!!
You're just incredible. Love your classical covers
I've been waiting for a new video and Voila! It's always a treat when Eric plays!
Your finest piece to date! Bravo!
Yeah man!!! Great performance playing metal😮🔥🔥🔥🎸
When you love metal and your first thought upon seeing the title is still "It's Bach, you don't need another reason to listen to it."
Bravisimo my dude! Never ceases to amaze wo well the classics translates so epically with metal. Stay awesome!
This is my favorite kind of cover! Classical and metal have always been an odd pair, but they really go well together.
This channel needs more love. KEEP ROCKING ON
Outstanding Mr Erock
Sounds amazing bro!!!
As a lover of Baroque and Metal, I find this very beautiful, however, nothing is more metal than Vivaldi specially compositions that are not from the Four Seasons, his Lestro Harmonico or Opus 3 , are so amazing that JS Bach transcribed about 6 of the pieces
Awesome version!
this is fantastic!
Excellent!!!🤘
You are so damn talented!!
Kudos to you onyour brilliant performance. I don't think a lot of listeners really understand how hard it is to play this music.

Thanks for this :) .
One of my first games as well, love this!
I loved when you did moonlight sonata a long ways back. Always wanted you to do hungrian rhapsody #2 but that would be asking quite a lot
Fastest way to get a metal artist to play something is to tell them it can't be done :]
@@MediocreHexPeddler Liszt's own favourite tactic to get musicians to play his works. He DID do his best to make his pieces as close to impossible as they could be though ::)
Most excellent, my dude!
Einfach nur der Hammer 🤘🍻!!!!! Respekt 🤘
I couldn't breathe for three minutes .... wow. Bravissimo.
was just tappin through childhood stuff today and fell over Swat Cats cartoon.... you should SO do a Eric Metal version of that intro, i totally forgotten how awesome that was :D
Bravo! I wonder how working it into an orchestral work would pan out? I have always loved Karl Richter's rendition of Brandenburg Concerto No. 3. Makes me wonder what metal guitar, harpsichord, and traditional strings would sound like... I reckon it would require one heck of an arranger.
Thank you!
Großartig, I love it!!! I bet, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach would have loved it also!
Sounds like the final boss fight of a Final Fantasy game. Awesome!
When I heard At Vance's version, I thought it was excellent. Now that I hear this. I think this is just as excellent. Well done!
Killed it again man. Keep up the great work. Would love to see you take a crack at toccata and fugue.
This is fantastic. Strong COB vibes. Alexi Laiho would be proud of you man.
Чувак! Ты с каждым разом удивляешь!👍 Так держать!👍
Excellent
Masterpiece! 🤘🤘
Well Done Sir!!!!
That...was simply something else...
This video is amazing from the power stance to the long hair
Wonderful !!! We like it !!!
I've been warming up with this since a friend in high school made me a copy of the piano sheet music. (I don't play the tapping part, sticking more the the piano arrangement of course) Good one!
Such a fun piece to play on piano! Looks like it works just as well for guitar :D
excellent and epic 🤘
J'adore le classique façon métal, continue.
Love it.
Awesome!
Classical+metal= beautiful ❤️
Awesome! I also dig how your arms look like a werewolfs.. 😆
First there was Hendrix.
Then came Dimebag.
Now there is ERock.
Epic!
This is fucking awesome!
RESPEEEEECT!!!AMAZIIIING!!!
Love this song, I play it on the piano all the time, faster and faster !!! Thank youu
I classic composers could be reborn, they will return as metals.
Back lighting worked really well. Seems like a difficut piece to arrange for guitar.
love me some Bach
Nice 👌
🎶🔥🔥Awesome 🔥🔥🎶
man I just love this shit.
Fuck. This has old-school Children of Bodom vibe. I love it.
i need this on spotify, now
barock is the ultimate metal
THE BEST BROOO 🤟🏻💥💥💥💥💥💥
🤟 Next Level 💎👁️
DUDE! I LOVED TREASURE MOUNTAIN!
1:17 It's all fun and games until someone puts an eye out...
Classical music isn't boring. It just needs a good set of drums
This is the most Skwisgaar I've ever heard a song sound.
This is some serious boss battle theme
Dude When are we getting Loki meets metal … you can’t tease us with an intro like that 🤣🤙🔥
Gold
It actually works!
dude, it's so cool seeing other people remember the Learning Company series! Did you play the super speller or math blaster games, too?
as a fan of Bach and metal I highly approve
Hairy wire is awesome! 😊
Impressive.
🖤
Fucking awesome!
Holy shit !! :) :)
Uau!!!! Wow!!!!
Been giving some thought to what I might like to see you cover. And searching through your past work I realized. You did Airwolf, but never did Knight Rider or the A-Team...
I'm just coming back after a few years and, My God your hair got long. Keep up the great music.
Damnit, someone hacked Eric’s account. The video that was just posted is not his. Please don’t unsubscribe; he will get it back eventually. Good luck, Eric! 🍀
"If it's baroque, don't fix it" - just make it METAL 🤘
I see what you did there and I like it!
just add drum and play on guitar
Hello, its a great works. How can I get your tabs "phantom of opera meets metal"
