Willo is best known for being the corgi howling while eating! She is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi living in sunny Phoenix Arizona. She's been howling while eating since she was about 4 months old. We call the noise she makes an "Awoo"

Our Corgi brings a lot of fun and laughter to our house.
I have been diagnosed with lung cancer...our Corgi has been a true companion and even jumps on my lap if he thinks I'm in trouble. He brings real joy and laughter to me as well!

My mom is a corgi breeder so the entire family has corgis. Her male, Finn, is a goofball with a lot of sass. He'll do what you tell him but will grumble about it if he disagrees. My grandma has a sweet female named Ziggy. Grandma has alzheimers and Ziggy is an amazing quiet companion animal for her around the house. She gives grandma someone to talk to and makes her laugh with her corgi shenanigans. My corgi is a diluted red merle male named Spud. I'm still figuring him out but he's definitely really smart and likes to hang out in my giant beanbag while I game. It's so cool how they're all so unique.

I'm getting a corgi in one month. His name is Eclipse and I'm hoping that he'll be my best friend and a service dog acting as second set of eyes.
Thank you for posting. My corgi Milo really helped me a lot with my social anxiety and socialization problems much like you. That is another reason to get a corgi, they are amazing care-givers. They are hypersensitive to their humans and their needs and health. Many corgis will play nurse when you are upset, anxious or sick. they are amazing.

These are the cutest dogs. First time I came across one was 2 years ago I was out doing my morning walk before work with a friend of mines and this lady was out walking hers and he was just so friendly and I just instantly fell in love and wanted one myself😍😍😍
I went to corgi beach day last year and it was sooo awesome, but seeing the puppy pen just made me want one even more

Bred, & owned Welsh Pembroke Corgi’s for over 25 years’. They’re beautiful dogs, very intelligent, & a lot of fun! Mine always loved swimming in creeks, with me. They know what you’re saying to them, & ‘talk’ back to you! Their beautiful smiles’ are captivating. Lovely nature, & excellent watch dogs’. No wonder our late Majesty, QEII loved them!
Yep, Artoo @artoothecorgi can do without the heat as well! We live at the beach and the summer months are not his favorite when it gets hot and he isn't allowed on the beach. He is counting down the days to October 1st when dogs are allowed on the beach again. We just took him on a 4-mile hike and he loves agility! When walking Corgi's you definitely hear "awww look at the Corgi"
Does your Corgi love the ocean? We had a Corgi mix that absolutely LOVED the ocean. I always said he must have been a surfer in another life. Lol! I miss my boy.

Corgis are awesome! My first Corgi lived 14 1/2 years. She was incredible! I don't know why but we owned big dogs after her which was dumb. I'll only ever own a Corgi now. We got our tri color Babycakes last September, 11 years after our other Corgi passed. How did I live those 11 years without a Corgi??!! Never again- Our new girl is everything we needed and she's a Corgi! LOL! ;o)

My wife grew up with corgis it took her 4 years to talk me into one we have a tri color male he’s awesome for sure. We live in an apartment for work in one state and have our family ranch in another and he does really well in both environments

Get a bark box worked for us and only had to use it a handfull of times

@@uriel4108 its a electronic device that activates when a dog barks and makes a sound that people cant hear but dogs do to teach them not to bark.
@@weaponsxpert87 barking is normal. it's horrible that there is a device that sends electric stimuli to a dog just because he shouldn't bark. it's in their instinct, you can't make them shut up. if you want a chill dog who doesn't bark then get another breed, there are plenty of breeds who are more chill and not vocal

1. Are they good for first time owners?
2. Would they be good with horses, other dogs and small pets?
3. How much do they shed?
4. Are they easy to train off leash?

I’m looking into if corgis are good for me, I want an ESA or at least a dog I can spend a lot of time with. I heard shedding is a big deal and they are very vocal so, since you’re a corgi owner, is this true? Does she bark a lot? And Is the shedding manageable?

they are quick learner... however, i just got a bit overwhelmed for my corgi tends to bite all the stuff in the house. How am i supposed to handle that?
Is yours still a puppy? If so, they will grow out of it, but I know it can be very overwhelming!! I do have a blog post with a few tips for teaching your puppy not to bite stuff/people. OK but why did you get your corgi's tail docked. I have a corgi and I made sure that his tail would not be docked, because believe it or not, its painful as hell, and corgis cry for days after their tail gets docked.
Most pure bred corgis ,if theyre pembroke, are actually born with the stub tail
My corgis tail is a natural bob tail. Not all of them are docked.

I have a corgi, he's my first dog and I had very little idea of how to raise a dog. I basically trained him as if I had a child. Make sure they don't hurt themselves, make sure they stay clean and make sure they work all their muscles (brain included).
Having a corgi has been one of the best turning points in my life. They are true underdogs. Those little legs don't stop them in the slightest. They are fast, tough dogs with big hearts and big brains.

You know there are no blue Merle Pembroke Welsh Corgis, but certainly that color is in the Cardigan Welsh corgi.

It was actually surprising to me to find out how agile and athletic they are! And they really shouldn't be too chonky lol, sadly a lot of corgis are overweight

I had Corgis, 5 from 1988-2021. 10 truths about Corgis. 1. They can be very stubborn. 2. They need a yard, apt living wont cut it. 3. They can be very destructive when left alone, chewed floors, furniture, car interiors. 4. They are not good with small kids, they chase, herd and nip. 5. They SHED!! A LOT all the time, you will wear and eat dog hair. 6. They can develop back trouble, no stairs. 7. They can be very bossy and need an assertive, patient owner. 8.They bark. A LOT, for no reason. 9. They live 12-15 years, my last was almost 17. 10. They are very prone to overweight and do best with a special diet. They are the right breed for the right owners, if your up to it, great, if not move on.
