    Sooooo... $1200 for a D-6.1200 isn’t enough?? I need to also spend $40 more for something that should be included in the build of a $1200 dsp/amplifier!!

      Yea...crazy huh ?...something I thought when I paid as much to the stereo shop when I bought a dm-810 and had them install it to my car ...amps and subs 🤷🏾‍♂️

    I purchased a D-5.1300 amplifier, acr -3 and AC-LGD60 from Stinger for my 2016 Honda Pilot Touring with stock amplifier. I currently had a kicker key 500.1 and kicker key 200.4. Using the same channel high inputs 1-4 active. I installed the D-5.1300 amp. I'm running 4 guage power and ground. The amplifier turns on Using GTO from channel 1and 2 for the tweeters. The 3 and 4 channels are for mids. The only channel that has any sound is channel 4 passenger mid. Subwooer input has no output either but works for Kicker key 500.1. If I sum the channels 3 and 4 the sub gets sound. 1 and 2 channels( tweeters) and channel 3 have no sound . I even unhooked and retightend all inputs and even bypassed LDG with direct output but same outcome. Switching back to kicker key 200.4 and 500.1 everything works fine. Any suggestions. Maybe I got the wrong LGD (grey) for stock amplifier or LDG is defective. I don't know what to do. I decided to hook up everything today 9-24-2023 but I purchased 5-29-2023 so returning probably not available. This is the most I ever spent on and Amplifier just to end up with a paper weight. I have sent an email already to you Sept.24th but still haven't got a response so hopefully you can answer it here. Thanks again for your input.

    So the statements made on this video about which LGD to use doesn’t align with documentation on your website? Quick reference guide on the website says Blue LGD for 2005-2015 then shows the green and grey are for 2018+

    I have a 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness and I just finished installing an LC7i and JBL amp. The rear speakers are not putting out any sound, but the front speakers are. I double-checked the wiring and I think it's hooked up right. The weird thing is that the volume control on the factory stereo is sluggish/unresponsive and when it does adjust, the volume coming out of the front doors does not change. I ordered the LGD-20 hoping that fixes the issue.

      @@urbinascaraudio8657 I did get it working finally. After spending way too much time messing around with it I eventually got fed up and put it all back to stock. I got everything working fully with the car the way it's supposed to, waited a couple days, then started over again. The only thing different this time around is I didn't use the same speaker wire as before. I can't say for sure if the wire was the cause of the problems, but it is the only thing different now. For info, the wire I used the first time was a roll of 16 gauge car speaker wire I bought on Amazon. The second time around, I bought lengths of 16 gauge wire from crutchfield and no more issues.

    I have a 2014 jeep Cherokee with premium sound system. I’m upgrading the sub and amp and have the LC2i since I’m keeping all other factory components. I pulled signal from one of the two factory sub plug harnesses to the left speaker port on the LC2i but get a distortion type sound from sub even at very low volume. Would the LGD correct this and if so would it be the blue or gray or does it matter?

  • @angelvargas-sj2lh
    @angelvargas-sj2lh Před rokem

    So does the dm810 not have this built in? I lose sound at times but after a few minutes of running it the sound doesn't cut off. The sound loss isn't all the time though. Also most times when i shut car/radio off the dm810 doesn't shut off thus keeping amps on. Occasionally it will shut down on its own but when it doesn't i pull power plug on dsp and plug it back and it will stay off until i turn radio back on.

    I’ve been using Audio Controls excellent products since 2003. In my 45+ years of a career in audio and telecommunications systems, the advancements in electronics have been quite impressive. Exponentially mind boggling is a better way of describing the electronics industry and Audio Control products are clearly the best despite being hampered by the elements found in the Pacific Northwest. Maybe the higher than usual rainfall here in the Southeast is causing my confusion but after watching this dreary video a couple of times, I still don’t understand the necessity for a LGD device.
    Even the man struggling to make his point in the video looks the way I feel...CONFUSED !
    Will someone please clarify the basic operation and need for this device ?
    And the beat goes on....

    Im Having Sound Problems Like This. Im Basically Getting No Signal Out Of My LC2i. My LC2i Is Tapped Into My Subwoofer Leads On My Factory Amplifier. Factory Subwoofer Is Still Working But Im Not Getting Anything Out Of The LC2i Output. Is This My Solution????

    • @AudioControlCar

      If the existing factory subwoofer is still in the system and functional, then no... adding any model LGD will most likely not solve your issue. Sounds like you have something else going on. Please give our tech team a call so they can walk you through the solution. They can be reached at (425)775-8461 and are available M-F from 9-5 PST.

    i have a 2021 nissan kicks sr i removes the pillar tweets and front soor speakers added a amp runing high line from the rear speakers both sides left and right and a sas tube.. i get just an error on my scan tool when i look up the av head unit but i have no issues what so ever will i be ok? all it sees is no front door speakers i get audio crisp clean and bass no problems what so ever knock on wood.. i get no check engine light or anything i been running this for a week now up to 20 on my stereo which is pretty loud but not really and i have no issues .... will there be a future issue if i keep using this setup? can i just add a 3 ohm 25 watt resister across the positive and negative door speaker terminals and just stick it back in the door basically it will see a 3 ohm load can i do that?
    it might seem that i keep the rear door speakers in and just tapped into them for high level amp and sas tube inputs that it sees a high enough load to say hmm theres a problem but not enough to screw anything up i dunno just asking advice

    I have a 2019 dodge charger that I swapped out the alpine system speakers for jbl clubs. I added a lc2i and amp and 8" subwoofer and tapped the rear deck speakers to get a signal. As long as the lc2i, sub and amp are connected I get weak bass, if any, from the sub and the rear deck speakers distort. Would these fix the problem?

    • @AudioControlCar
      @AudioControlCar  Před 3 lety +1

      We would certainly recommend installing the AC-LGD's inline between your factory system and the inputs of your DQ-61. There is a good chance they will take care of your issue. If you still have trouble with noise, give our tech support team a call, and see if they can help to walk you through some troubleshooting. (425)775-8461

I then went inside the unit to adjust the jumpers and now they problem is now fixed. I did keep the LGD’s installed as your tech told me it will not hurt, only will help my setup. Thank you guys for everything.
