I get that you are just doing your job, but at least do it correctly. If I have 24 hours to do something, and you want to take an hour away and do something in 23 hours, I'd be pissed too. What is the purpose of the notice? Why put any time at all? I agree they likely wouldn't have been able to move it, but it was in writing. Those 3 could have pushed it off of the property in an hours time. MY personal tow will arrive in 10 minutes... I'd have told you to pound sand.
That jerk with the U-Haul, should get the vehicle number and call in to U-Haul and let them know what is going on, they can cancel the rental agreement and send someone to pick it up if the renter is intentionally using it to break laws and risking it being towed. They don't take kindly to their equipment being put at risk.

Just because it leaks oil, has three flat tires, a broken windshield, and busted taillights, doesn't mean that I can't park it here. The drop fee is more than the whole car is worth. Better to use that drop fee as a down payment on a better - and running vehicle.
That's so messed up. The Hispanic lady said: "You can't tell the manager you live here because you must be on the lease contract and you are not. Just tell them you don't know me or you just came to visit and you car broke down here". So sad people do that for real. Well I can’t say much about current tags, mine expired end of September and I thought it was end of October. But I live in a senior building and this chick could care less about tags unless it’s 4-6 months expired.
No tag... The apartments normally have you list your car by make, model and plate number. So lack of plate means it's not in their records. That paper"applied for" in place of the plate is just advertising you don't have a valid plate. Cops see you driving with that it might as well say "stop this car" Apartment managers see it and they say "get that refugee from the crusher off the property"

Each person living there need to have their car on file with their apartment number. And if they change cars go let the office know, not real hard.
