If she is waiting for her sticker to come in the mail, it is HER responsibility to communicate that to the office AND common sense should tell her TO PUT HER PAPERWORK ON HER WINDSHIELD if she is waiting on a sticker. It is HER car. She needs to be responsible for having the right paperwork etc for her car. If she communicated with the office that she was waiting for a updated sticker, that is on the office. He is given a list. It is NOT his fault. Blame it on her for not doing what a person with any sense would do and the office. She has lived there long enough to know what the procedure is. She has been driving long enough to know what the procedure is. She needs to handle her business.
As a former towing company owner/operator my hat is off to you tow trucker, I learned the lambo strap trick from an older man and it works very well. You do good work, keep it up man!!

Honestly, it sounds like that system is broken, if you need tags shipped in the mail. Why not just change it to bi-annual payments and if you dont pay, your plates are invalid and you can not drive on the road with them. If someone has not paid the road tax then the plates will be entered into the ANPR system, and if they are spotted on the road, they are pulled over, they will get a fine for driving a uninsured vehicle, and the police takes your plates and then you must pay what you owe, and after that you can buy a new set of plates to put on the car. I really dont understand this whole "It's kind of okay to drive your car with expired road tax" deal, that so many americans seems to think.

Also, pleeeease....I dont believe that her tags expired september 2020, and she ordered new tags for it before they expired, but now....a full year later, she still have note received the tags. Different countries, different rules, in my country the only legal place to park a car with expired tags is on private property, and clearly from seeing these video's it is a code violation to have cars with bad tags parked up on property parking lots. I feel that the "Sometimes the system makes mistakes, and then it becomes "not my problem" is really entitled" From what i can read online, you get a notification 60 days before the tags expire, so this lady has had 60 days plus plus more than a full year to get this problem sorted. It is very clear to me, that your system is very flawed. Here we have bi-annual road-tax payments, in the vast majority of cases, these are sent to the bank where they are automatically paid. We dont have to have stickers, if a car owner does not pay, there are daily fines from the day the tag expires and if you pass a ANPR police car, the police will an alarm, you will be stopped and your license plates will be removed. Then you have 24 hours to get your unregistered car off of public roads. If you can not afford the road tax, the only way you can avoid being fined daily is to turn in the plates and deregister the car. Also, you can at any time go onto the department that handles road tax, and pay online with a credit card, and as soon as the credit card is approved, your status will be updated in the system. I see NO excuse for driving without road tax or insurance, and any car on the road should have these 2 essential things in order...If not, they should not be on the road at all.

Those guys are a safety hazard. Probably can't fine them & expect the fine to be paid, but the city can make it illegal for motorists to give them money while on an active roadway & ticket the motorists a couple hundred per.

Thank you because of you I put a tow trucker driver in his place he didn’t want to flat bed my Bmw i3 that would not start and had the e brake stuck on I learned from watching your videos that all he needed was skates which he wasn’t going to use he want to use a regular tow truck but I told him no and not to hook Otto the rear suspension and to load it right. Thank you you saved me a a lot of damage to my already expensive car. Keep doing what you do because you are great at it. Also the people here in California are meaner to tow guys.

I have to agree with the lady at the end. It's neither your, nor her fault, that the office forgot to mark it off the list (which makes it the office's fault). It seems she did inform them. When they don't bother to call the office, then yes, their fault. In this case, she seems to have though (as she mentioned that they have the proof as well as she's sent it to them).
The state isn't sending her tags, even though she paid for them. The office isn't listening to her. I feel like this is why even good people just give up sometimes. They try to actually do the right thing, and then a bunch of bureaucrats just treat them with total indifference. How much aggravation can a person who already has struggles deal with on a constant basis?!
