Yes , that's because they all use the same stick modules in their controllers.

I hope the patent goes through successfully, seeing an image of a game one plays as the theme of the start up screen sounds interesting. Also, I don't think I have experienced drift with my current pro controller. Lastly, I like that improvements are being made so drift will not be a problem, looking forward to the new Nintendo Direct, & more.
I’m excited for that new mainline Shovel Knight game. It will be interesting to see where Yacht Club Games will go from a 2D game to a 3D game. I’ve played Shovel Knight before. It was on the 3DS. I would had to see more of Mina The Hollower before deciding if I should get it. I think that Mina The Hollower looks really interesting. It kind of like the Zelda games from the Game Boy.
The screenshots on the home menu would be interesting for games I don't play very frequently. Hovering over the game to see what you did a month or more ago would be cool.
Agreed. Makes your Switch 2 more personalized that way. I wonder how my games will look like on the new UI especially on some Japan exclusive imports that do not have English.
@@PawapuroJRPGfan878 not just that, it refreshes your memory on the last quests you did. I think it should be optional though. I like looking at boxart.
It's like the save files in Tears of The Kingdom, it has a screenshot of your last spot you saved at, now implement that into the home menu and do that for every game you last played, it sounds plausible and would be pretty cool to see and kind of helps to draw you into playing a title that you didn't play much of or that was put on hold.

How is it that I have a 2020 Switch with no drift in its original joy-cons? I do have a pro controller that drifted once or twice for a split second on rare occasions, but then no more. I have tons of hours on my controllers from playing games like Dark Souls Remastered, Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, etc. - many games that utilize both analog sticks a lot. Yet I'm not having problems with drift much more than I have with controllers of the more robust generations of the past. Just slightly. Drift has always been exceptionally rare in all the controllers I've owned from Nintendo, and Sony/Microsoft for that matter. I also take meticulous care of my gaming hardware and don't drop things. Is that the big difference here? I wonder.

Sounds very interesting! Also hopes they have an trophy/achievement-system that can be used as these kinds of prints to see your latest progress as well!
I like the idea of trophy/achievements, it's fun to see the progressions made without needing to boot up the game and all that, just something to simply see as a option from the UI, it also encourages you to jump back into said game and find more trophies/achievements, and Nintendo has lots of first party games to utilize it to make some fun ways to earn achievements/trophies.
@@noctis6826 Yeah, and its fun to compare with others and it gives the game replay value - or just reason to spend more time in the game. I really think it adds to what you get out of a game!

He’s just covering new patents they filed which is public info. They are creating all of these things and testing them for the new switch, we just don’t know what they’ll keep or don’t keep till they make an official announcement.

My Ps5 controller drifted 8 months into its life and I just got another controller. As did my OG joycon, but my oled joycons nor the neon joycons I bought separately never drifted. 8bitdo sn30 pro didnt drift yet either. Just comes to show it can be on many modern controllers
