Big respect to you Sorin. I always appreciate your honest and fair approach towards your customers. As a fellow independent tech, I know how important reputation is.
honest as the day is long ....sorin is always fair and professional .....
Mistakes like this one is what people get from time to time when they send just one part of device. Without testing everything before shipping it back it's normal that something will slip.
Wow, That's an astonishing analysis you've made. This is Sorin at his best, as always, and despite the mistake! 👍
You certainly do take care of your customers. I wish more people were like you.
sovin, honestly always bring in more customers.. A good lesson to check. Thanks
Appreciate your honesty and we all learn from you.
I am from Algeria. I have learned a lot from you, thank you

You are a Honest teacher❤
10:35 hope u remember to latch the battery connector back down afterwards..
Very interesting video, in the beginning looks that is really strange fault in the laptop but later that is simple connector issue! I'm learning a lot from this videos! Thank you!
Hello, you put a heat sink screw at the wrong place (the top right one). No screw in this hole. Thank you for all your videos. A lot of nice lessons.
when the customer put all the screws back, i'm sure he'll notice that and move the screw back in place
Yes, i am sure too. It only was a modest contribution.
Hi Sorin, good Job and respect for your honestly, me to use this unique thing to create a good reputation with my customer, as u told we are human and Is normal to mistake, but with respect and only to share and grow i think the real mistake u do Is accept the battery without the laptop, with respect bye from Francesco Timpano from Florence Italy
you're a genius! very impressive to recognize this fault

Good job mate 👍

Cei care nu muncesc nu greșesc. Foarte corect din partea ta Sorin
Keep up the good work
It's not a recheck, it's a missed opportunity...
That's what I use to call them back when I was working...😂
Now that does make sense okay could have been the problem I had all along with mine
you a very smart repair person! big up!
Just in case some of you missed some of Sorins hidden jokes. Back in the 80s money was to be made being a little bit dishonest and sneaky doing repairs. There is not so much need for the money driven work as.you get older. Helping people becomes a bigger reward as you get older. So if you are young and a little bit dishonest to make money for your future. Go ahead. We all did it.
✨Every time you make a mistake you should send back the device with a piece of chocolate 🍫, everyone enjoys that, even if they don't they know someone who does. It wouldn't cost you much Sorin. & it would put a smile on their face. Straight from the heart! ❤
Asus would not even attempt to repair it so you did better than the manufacturer
I damaged one a similar asus on the board side of the connector
*You forgot to close the battery plug lock*
Laser eyes 😀
Ya it takes as much energy to melt and cause a pound of solder to flow as it does to melt a quarter of an ounce of solder. /s
You are THE BEST
Big respect
its not your mistake since you did not have the laptop to test the full system, even if you had tested the pins you would have just checked the voltage, which was fine.
thank you for showing us how to be noble when we make a mistake.
You just did proof everyone that you can resolder the fancy battery fuse and it still work many times.. like in video if i got correctly what happened there :)
you are the best
Very good!
That proves you are human! LOL ! Thanks for verything!
Hi sorin love from India❤❤❤
Sir Sorin, idk what is happening with this battery but 3 of my colleague got their middle cell swollen on this exact battery model, please be careful they seem hazardeous (one of them blew up while charging).
You may have disturbed the pins during the unlocking, but why did the battery lock in the first place? Because the pins were already not connecting. Problem is a poor connector selection - it should use pin connectors not these.
Sorin you put the screw in wrong hole that one you put in last is for back cover screw
Sorin made a mistake? No way. It was a gremlin.
Yeah at the same PC at one point never did figure it out stopped working one day and I mean I went through everything I never did figure out why you know cuz it won't turn on if the battery is not connected so yeah really weird right
Nice one
Pins were bad before you touched it. I don't think it's your fault.
Not sure that's your fault tbh. Customer should have sent the whole laptop from the start. How can you fully diagnose, fix then test when you only have part of the hardware. It similar scenario when I worked in the motor trade. Customer states vibration through steering when doing 80mph.... Well I couldnt test that could i...
Moral of the story, *no jobs no problems!*
Mr Sorin do you have any advice on what to do with a new laptop as far as the battery usage is concerned?
Asus battey have id pin instead sda and scl pin sometime its connect to screw sometime its to charging connector if its not pull down battery will not charging
Why did the battery continue to charge and exceeded the upper limit of the voltage? (I think the battery was 11.55 volts) but it continued to charge and exceeded the 12.7 volt barrier.🤔🤔
4.2 x 3 = *12.8v*
@@incandescentwithrage
Battery voltage 11.55 volts. But the battery was charged with more than 12.5 volts and it still continues to charge. Charging should stop at 11.55 volts. Just as a reminder, the battery here contains three cells, each cell is 3.85 volts
3.85v*3=11.55 v
@@A.Rush.1983 I don't know where you're getting 3.85v from. LiPo are full at 4.2v.
Nominal voltage printed on the battery may be 11.5, but operating voltage will be ~9-12.8v
Another repair by boss :)
you have not right 100% about is your fault, the customer should send to you not only the battery. bouth of you lost time and money far that .
What is the laptop model? Looks strange with the passive cooling these days :)
Laptop model Asus E410MA. Yes fanless laptop it's like more energy efficient and cost-effective.
Those kind of laptops are disposables, all brand has the same cheap design, like a tablet with keyboard.
I wouldn't say it's your fault, because you didn't even have the Laptop to test this Battery, and it's not your fault when the connector is so bad that the pins are dislocated.
A.k.a. this one. :D
Numai cine nu munceste,nu greseste:)
Hello, my laptop is making my eyes hurt. It's weird because I can't see the flickering when I look at it directly, but when I use my phone to look at the screen, I can see it flickering. What could be causing this?
Haha, why are you looking at your laptop screen through your phone?, it will flicker, its picking up the refresh rate, thats normal
still customer mistake ! the customer should have send laptop at first place
u looks like chrome book lol
That laptop is crap, a bad design inside
hahahahahaha , yeah , indeed... maybe it was bought from TEMU
No, a Celeron laptop is NEVER a nice laptop. They are all rubbish, VERY slow rubbish.
Yea You are Perfect Right everybody makes mistakes 🤗🫡🫡👍👍👍
