When Frank Lampard hung up his boots as Fourth highest Premier League goal scorer, most goals from outside the box, second most assists in the Premier League, Chelsea’s top scorer of all time - you couldn’t complain that he was one of the best midfielders of his generation. Unfortunately for Frank, this didn't carry over into management with Chelsea.
Despite most recently having just 18 months in charge, Lampard will be remembered for his 2 standout playing seasons, 2004/05 & 2009/10. In this video i’ll walk you through the 4-3-3 Frank was crucial in, that Mourinho used to win his first English title, while only conceding 15 goals in 38 games.

If anyone is looking for a good and affordable target man, I would reccomend Wout Weghorst from Wolfsburg, cost about 40 mil, is 6'6", and has 88 strength, with an overall of 82

He probably just misspoke. Remember a b2b carries the ball forward and backwards (if you want it that way) and is used all over the pitch within the midfield “vertical” areas. So your cm/box to box midfielder will want to get into the box for crosses and plays like that but also fall back if necessary and try to help carry the ball from there. Lampard (your cam) is responsible for finishing the chances that do end up coming his way and playing in an advanced position to assist your target man if needed and to act as a link between your b2b / cdm (if you want to play like that) and your attack. So he’ll need to be forward a lot.
