No need to apologise for long deck descriptions - I enjoy learning the thought process behind the card choices!! If people don't want to hear it, they can skip ahead :)
Thanks for the affirmation! 😁
Stonks threw me off good stuff man😂
Nice❤
Thoughts on removing Radiant Greninja from the list? In my eyes, the Pokémon you had in play at the beginning of the first game was the ideal start for this deck - which doesn't have any room for Greninja to take up a bench space. Penny might also be a good card to get rid of Squawkabilly, however I would rather replace it with Mew ex, Raichu V, or even a Tapu Koko for the Charizard match ups. Would appreciate your thoughts. Great video BTW, really liked the discussion of each card at the beginning!
Hey, thanks so much! I would say to give this list a spin with your alternative card choices and seeing how it goes. For this list in particular, it won a large Japanese tournament. Japanese tournaments are best of 1 round as opposed to best of 3 rounds in the West. I think penny would be a good inclusion. But finding it consistently might be tough. You also often find yourself needing a Research over picking up a basic and putting the energy back into your hand without a way to re-accelerate it into play. So, maybe a collapsed stadium to remove liabilities on your bench could be good. I like where your head is at, though, in terms of alternative plays with this archetype bc there is so much you can do with Miraidon. To me, it makes this archetype especially fun to pilot.
With a lot more people looking at Dialga, Mew EX gets the amazing ability to copy Star Chronos. I've done that a few times in TCGL and it's always fun!
Cool to know! I guess I thought that only V Pokemon could use VStar attacks kind of like how Forest Seal Stone can only be utilized by a V Pokemon.
Does using Star Chronos with Mew ex count as your one VSTAR move per game?
@deano852 yes I do believe it would
@deano852 I went into the rules compendium to double check, and you may copy a vstar attack with mew ex, and it does count as your vstar move for the game. So, if you used a vstar move you cannot copy a vstar move again with mew ex. Very good question!
@@teamvikavolt2856 Thanks for checking, much appreciated! Definitely makes you question whether using Forest Seal Stone is worthwhile in the Dialga matchup, and potentially others.
How this deck win a huge turnament? 😅😅
Not a bad deck but there are more mutch better. Anyway good video again!
In the live streams, you will play against the subscribers, or you play ranked matchs?
I suppose any deck that can hit certain numbers consistently has even a fraction of a percentage to win it all. I agree that it's a surprise that this one made it on a 2000+ player tournament, though. Very unexpected. I could play some against subbers on stream! 😁 Just as long as I'm getting beneficial practice for NAIC. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I wonder if Karmine will be good here when it drops (the whole discard your hand to draw 5 but can use it turn one) though maybe you have enough burst power anyhow
I think it'd be a good alternative to Squawkabilly, but not being able to use a supporter T1, going first, can be a huge miss.
@@teamvikavolt2856 yeah, maybe with tatsiguri it could be included, super excited to try this out with all the new stuff though, its cool that its still doing well despite loosing the sheep
@emberpowertcg7692 If Gardy can do it, Miraidon can, too! From what I see coming out of Japan, Miraidon ought to see continued play as a support in Luxray ex decks as well. Not bad for a $2 card.
Why didn’t he attack with raiku
