Me and my friend Sam went to the San Antonio Pokemon Regional Championship with 2 goals in mind. Compete our hearts out, and purchase a booster box. Also i... maybe didnt tell him we could spend as much as we could on a Pokemon Booster Box... Oops ;)

@@sheerheartattack3867I REALLY want to, but the thing is that there’s a deck I really wanna build, and I have done a lot of research, but I just don’t know how exactly to get the cards. I could just buy packs and hope I get all of the ones I need, but that can get pricey and there’s no guarantee I’m getting the cards I need. I would LOVE to go to regional like this so I can get the cards at a vendor, but they always are way too far away from where I’m at, but I REALLY wanna get into TCG
1 comfey out of an entire box is crazy, but the alt art giratina basically makes up the price of the box if not fully.

That's not how confusion works. The Pokemon stays confused until it hits the bench. Then if you attack you flip a coin. If heads the attack goes through. If tails it fails and you do 30 damage to yourself

Seeing Alt Art Giratina V get played is like when I saw someone use SIR Miriam during the SV Prerelease. Value be damned, these cards were meant to be played with. You love to see it.
lol I pulled the SIR Miriam and traded it for the SIR Penny during prerelease. That Penny had been my chase card for the set, so even if I ended up losing value, still enjoyed that trade.
@@matchumadori5291 I vibe with that trade. Still don't have the SIR Penny, but that and the UR Penny cards were my chases from SV, and I managed to pull the UR from a booster box. Wasn't the most valuable card I pulled in terms of money, but it was the most valuable in terms of personal value.
Glad to hear there are still people who go for personal value over monetary value, especially with how many investors have invaded this space over the last few years.

As someone who just got into TCG (digitally- I had a bunch of code cards that I just never got around to scanning in before) I love to see the pros at work!
I’ve been trying to work out how to make a good synergistic deck and this was an awesome example!

I originally started to collect cards because I love the art, (I am an artist) but the game is so cool in itself and, once you get into it, it’s not as scary as I thought it would be!

38:18 Cliffe: *_"I SPENT $900!!!"_* Goes to show a booster box can cost one way, but it's a whole other game & ultimately means absolutely nothing if you don't have a sufficient density of busted beasts in the packs. That's why Lost Origins Trump's many other boxes. Lostbox is/was/will forever be remembered as a true powerhouse juggernaut.

Hey Jack, you've inspired me to get into Pokémon TCG. At some point, I wanted to get into it but didn't know how to start. Though by watching your TCG video before this again and watching your streams when you talk about TCG, I was inspired to pull out my Pokémon cards and try to make some decks. Thank you very much.
I have never really gotten into the Card Game, but I think you are the perfect filter for me to get whatever enjoyment out of it that I can.
BIG fan of having the cards be in readable format on screen. Absolutly helps me kinda keep track of what is going on.
I swear these TCG videos are really great I hope you do more of these with lots of interesting challenges I like the concept seeing outdated sets fight against new sets
And also for someone who doesn’t know much about playing TCG you make these really fun to play
