  • This will be the first built VQ37VHR that i'll document. I'll toss in every bit of information so that maybe more people will feel a bit less intimidated by building these themselves. This will be released in multiple parts since there's a lot to cover, so please sub to stick around to see the rest! Time for another VQ owner to go fast!
Part 16, we'll talk about how to measure piston to wall clearance, valve relief direction, and wrist pin offset. Hopefully some of you get some ideas from this vid. Comment with suggestions! Thanks!

Will you be getting the crank balanced with the new weights of pistons and rods

Yes. I recorded all of the new weights and gave them to the shop that's balancing the crankshaft.

hi, I have problems with assembling such an engine. Where can I find information on installing and adjusting the vvel shaft, camshaft?

You cannot actually adjust the VVEL at all. Not in a basic sense anyway.

Is this block not getting a CSS? or is this just a test block?

This is going to be an open deck build, so rods, pistons, head studs, and main studs. Most other parts will be basically factory.
