Nashville style bridges don't have a retaining clip, ABR1 do.
Original 50's ABR-1 bridges don't have the retaining wire. That didn't come about until 1961.

I ordered a sg from aliexpress that had to be built and they painted over the logo for me! Played nice out of the box and I did the usual upgrades, epi pickups and wiring, musiclily tuners, and roller bridge. Frets only needed a quick polish!
The first thing you have to do is take the garbage Chinese strings off it. You will notice a huge improvement in the sound.
I got lucky on a Chibson les paul custom blk! I still changed everything just to make it mine! I've got 3 real Gibson's 2 customs! 2 epiphone les pauls! I'd gig with Chibson to leave my real stuff at home! It's that good even the inlays are good! Head stock on Chibson is larger than a real Gibson! Thanks 🤘

Honestly, with all the "flaws" aside, I think it sounds great. And you can't beat FREE! With some mods and upgrades I think it will be phenomenal. I think you found your new gigging guitar.
I thought about buying one. But then I grew up my credit. Bought me the real deal, Gibson LP. I was a Gibson basher only because I thought I would never afford one. 😅
Congratulations. Gibson is a good name. I don't think anyone can bash the quality of their instruments. Their price of course is another story lol

The specs are off just tiny bits on a lot of different things. Enough to not be a lawsuite guitar.

The green tuner's are actually on Gibson Guitar s See Grover tuners. China is lending money to tons of countries especially in the continent of Africa 🌍 and in exchange THEY GET ALL MINERAL RIGHTS.. So The Fretboard is Definitely real wood. Also Gibson on its custom guitars especially for Professional know acts CHAMBERED OUT THE GUITAR... To make it lighter. Also with CNC machining it levels the playing field...
The most important thing in a guitars ability to play well is ?? #1 The PLAYER #2 The PLAYER #3 the PLAYER.. #4 The SPEAKERS & CAB #5 The AMP #6 pedals or MULTI EFFECTS PEDALS that simulate Pedals Amp models Speakers Speaker Cabs 🎤 mic's a noise gate filter & finally an EQ pedal.... Korea is WHERE A LOT Epiphone guitars are made including the bridge the pickups... So probably made in the same factory NITRO finished guitars Smell for a while & fade... No one expects a 275 dollar guitar to be as good as a 2400 dollar one. Why is this guy so disappointed?
It cost more the 275 it’s at least 400-500. Buy if you wanna use your money.
I had a couple chibson and I tell you. It’s a piece of trash. But if the shoes fit go for it. It’s for those who are cheap and willing to buy one. But it’s my opinion don’t kill me 😂😂😂😂😂😂

That's a very poor quality Chinese Les Paul replica. Not all of them are of such poor quality. I bought a few Les Paul customs from China. The pickups and electronics are garbage but the rest of the guitar is excellent and I mean excellent. When I put in some top-quality pickups, new 500K pots, Gotoh tuners and did a complete set up on it, the performance became every bit as good as an authentic Gibson or better. Maybe I put in about $700 total into each guitar and that's much better than spending $6000 for an overly proud company like Gibson.
By the way, I have a lot of top-level Guitars, including a Gibson R9 and a whole lot more. I know what I'm talking about. The guitar in this video is complete trash, but they are all not like that.
stop feeding these gross people your money. just get a epiphone. they are great and not expensive

epiphones are made in china mate🤣...some of the chibsons are prob made in their old factory
Same people making these guitars. Skillsets are transferable and people move from workplace to workplace
So you buy a fake Gibson for a few hundred bucks,then begin to compare it with a real Gibson and say how bad it is.Did you expect to get a cheap copy then get high end hardware with it?Look how bad the logo is!With a bit of work you could,if you can do your own work,make this a playable guitar,like so many have done,or blow your money on an overpriced Gibson.There's a reason these guitars exist,there's a strong market for them.Look at this Hyundai,it's nothing like my Mercedes.We all know the shortcomings of cheap copies.My first guitar was a Gemtone,a real piece of crap,but dollar for dollar,I wish these were around back then.I own a lot of high end guitars and some of my favorite ones are not big brand names.Otherwise great video.Cheers
