Van Vieng is a well known town in Laos. It is called as backpackers capital and also as the adventure capital in Laos. The title is well deserved as the tourists outnumber the locals by 15 to one. Also, you can book any kind of tours and activities such as hiking, paragliding, hot air balloon, water sports, tubing and so on. With high speed train from Luang Prabang and Vientiane, this town is easily and quickly accessible and makes a great stop for a few days.

Yes is small and not thing much to do and see but everything in Northern of Laos is beautiful and relaxing and I felt loved and comfortable and safe. Especially in Luangpabang❤🙏

Last year there is spanish youtuber travelling from Europe, passing thru from Portugal-ES-FR-DE-PL- Estonia-Russia-Mongolia-China-laos all the way to Singapore by rail. His channel is aventura de ramailla
