Well, it kind of sounds like that one Goemon game where each stage exit would give a travel pass (or whatever they called those things).
You would then use those passes to open the castle (after opening a path to even REACH the castle).
The only issue I had with this game is that everything before world 4 just feels like an extremely drawn out tutorial. I really felt like I had to force myself to play through the first few worlds, but once I got to the good part it was a *really good part*
Honestly, now that they started playing with these elements I kind of wish they kept the koopalings! Like imagine if they did something like Paper Jam did and pair them up, give them dialogue and banter, then let their battles utilize each one’s strength together. And with this they aren’t always the end world boss
Or even just wonder variants that genuinely change everything up or make boss fights out of pre-established wonder effects

Yes! I agree with everything here, especially the comparison to 3DS Kirby titles like robobot, they really did take the best of nintendo games and put it in this one!

Honestly, wonder reminds me quite a bit about wario land. You're more encouraged to explore and there's no timer stopping you, the backgrounds and levels are really unique and you can tell them from one another, the art style is different and beautiful (like wario land 4 and shake it), and you can choose to do what levels you want to do. Like in wario land 4. Really makes me happy! Hope they make another wario land though.

You said that the level difficulties vary from 1 to 4 stars. But there are 5 stars levels
There are, but if I’m not mistaken it’s only the last level and the special levels and I count that as spoilers. I was trying to stick to main game with minimal spoilers.
Koopalings > Bowser Jr.
The only thing I say was a downgrade was the bosses. Say what you will about them they are still better then just Jr over and over again. Honestly them in wonder might have fixed the problem people had in the past.

What is the point of the life counter in this game?
This is a fair criticism! There really are no consequences to losing all of your lives. I’ve always been anti-life counter so it doesn’t bother me all that much. But you’re right, lives are pretty pointless here.

Weetabix is nice though, especially with fresh fruit. Most American cereal I've seen looks bad honestly.
Weetabix is the British version of Weet-bix but I'm assuming they taste mostly the same.

I know this might be controversial, but the weakest part of the game is the soundtrack to me. I still do enjoy the game though.

After playing the game with friends for hours, I have but one criticism... Why did Nintendo brand the main mechanic as "Wonder Flowers" and not "Magic Mushrooms"? Overall though the game is amazing, Def gonna buy some Nintendo merch once they release the fascist Mario line.
