Someone should make a list to educate Filippinas on things not to ask foreigners e.g. the country I come from, the hotel I am staying at, my work or age etc. Basically, any question that hints at how much money I have to spend on her.
That isn't just the Philippines. If you travel around, it's an Asian thing. Asians are nosy. I was in Singapore. I got in a taxi and the taxi driver asked me how old I was.

We keep hearing the same things. But the truth is, those things are for about maybe 50%-60% of all Filipinas. For example, every Filipina has a different idea of what 'being weird' is. Also, Filipinas want to be told they are maganda, but what makes them maganda to many Westerners is the darker skin, which is exotic to us. Of course, be polite and watch what you say to ANY girl until you get to know her... then you know what is acceptable and what is not. Maybe, if you found a good one, just maybe, you can talk about why it bothers her and why you think it's a good thing.

Perhaps these are some things not to ask too early, but you do need to know if she is single, of legal age and whether she has children or not. Almost every woman I have dated here is a single Mom, some are forthcoming about that and some are not. And yes, underage women have lied to me about being 18. Honestly with women from age 16-25 it is often very difficult to tell. Be careful.

I find it interesting that the Filipinas I meet will ask me these personal questions and I feel awkward and at times I don't even answer her questions and I just change subject.

I don't wanna rag on this girl, but her age really does show. Also, there are a lot of cultural issues at play here, but this problem with exes.... is a problem. If you are dating a guy 20 years older than you, then you aren't the first, and all the stories you hear are going to have taken place in front of an ex. It's funny because Filipina's are always asking me if I'm single and if I have kids and how old I am and what my job is and how much I make. I see nothing wrong with the questions just be honest. Filipina's are not always honest they can be sneaky. Guys too obviously, but IMO honesty is the best policy. Why beat around the bush and play games?
Speaking of which it is apparent to me that this 'smart girl' Reine is in fact just another 20yo with very little life experience and experience living around the world and dealing with other cultures. It comes through with her every video. Her 'my way or the highway' attitude towards various issues is striking and very similar to Westernized ladies. Like the whole 'how dare you insult my country in anyway' just strikes me as shallow and overly sensitive (which makes sense because she is just 20 after all). OR "If I am with you, my bills are your bills" AND "I have a sick family member who needs money NOW for medication, what do you think?" AND "I still talk to my ex, don't worry, he is just a friend" AND/OR "This is not a partnership, I'm the boss in this relationship"
