For me I saved of $20, $10, $5 and $1 for 3 years a i only saved up $237. Maybe because I’m only 11 and I don’t really come across money 💵🤦🏾♀️

I've done the $5 challenge from this lady on IG. Last year, I saved only using the five dollar bill for the entire year. I was able to save $2,905. I divide the money between my 2 boys & it goes into their savings accounts until they turn 18 yrs old. Also, I'm on a weightless journey. I pay myself $50 for every pound loss. It gives me motivation to keep going. I can spend it once I reach my goal. I think I will start paying myself for working out too (maybe $10).

Maybe a good idea to start Roth IRAs for your boys because the money will be invested and the growth is not taxed.
Savings accounts are no good because the value of the money will be eaten up by inflation.

I take 40$ every week and get quarters and put them in a 3 gallon jug. It’s easier to grab bills then quarters.😃

You have expired me to start the $5 challenge. So every five I get I know I cannot spend it. If any coin change I know I cannot spend it. And each week I will add more money to it and I will do something different I may say instead of 5 I add another 5 with it

You're so welcome how I looked at it and how I took from what I learned and took from the video
. Is one week you was able to save this much and the next week you was able to save more . It obviously tells me that things was different from week to week. Now for example 1 week you might have been able to say 40. And then the next week you was able to save 60. It in the next week you was able to say 65 and then a bunch of change. I put this up there as an example so they'll see exactly what you're talkin about.and people sometimes don't really listen because I really listen to your whole video that's how I was able to understand and comprehend the first time and I just took tools from it and did my own thing

I do the $5, $1, and 12 month saving challenges. I think I m addicted and my family thinks I m nuts. I also save 20 percent of my income for retirement . You all are young but life goes fast and in my case disability happened which forced me to quit work early. Thank God I had my savings to rely on until I received disability.
😂 I so can relate my friends circle has somehow trickled to 1 friend left 😂 but that’s they loss we’re awesome 👏🏽 and they freaking know it 🤪 lol I am so thankful for you sharing the retirement percentile with me!! Yess boo you’re right it is hard and every situation is different but you have to think positive things retrain your brain to think a little more clearly. What do you enjoy or what talents do you have what are some things you’ve always wanted to do? Pick one them focus on how you can become the overseer of that focus for example let say you make some of the best banana pudding ever 😋 invest in yourself make time for yourself. Write down in a journal 📓

I am 29 & have $32,000 in retirement. I feel so behind but hell none of my friend my age have a penny saved! I do not want to be like everyone else in my family & work ftil I die. I want at least 10+ years to not only enjoy life/not working, but also, my body kills me now so I know its going to he 10x's worse when I get up in age! So to anyone that says I can't afford it- you can't afford NOT to! Dont say you cant- say how can i! You can literally work 2-3 hours overtime each week and there's $20/wk. right there! I.c you have to get a job on the weekend! Something! It's better to do it now while you're young! Things are just going to get more expensive!

Congratulations. I started saving hundred dollars a week from February. It is a great accomplishment especially for me. During that time of saving I came ill. I also started putting 8quarters in a jar a week or three times a week of I can. Recently had to stop the hundred dollars a week. Happy saving. Hope your husband have a healthy safe speedy recovery 🙏

A friend of a friend of mine did that. The husband was a manager at Taco Bell, and the wife was a respiratory therapist. They did it for ten years and bought their 250K house cash. This was several years ago.

1st thank you for your time and thank you for sharing your story! I am so worth to hear about him loosing his job and I can’t absolutely relate 💯 now! We are currently trying to figure out our next moves so that we can continue to keep things in tack. I’m definitely praying and working hard!! I pray that your hubby is able to find something that will be able to suffice! I commend you Queen and I know he will be okay with you by his side it definitely gets hard but this too shall pass. I’m not sure if you all have ever thought about side hustles and you probably already do this but if not consider it it’s extremely helpful you can do or sell anything from the comfort of your own home. And that’s right love stay positive and starting with 5s is a great way to start that’s exactly how I began on the first round. It was very successful even for 6 months it helped to pay for that accident for certain! I’m sending prayers of peace, good health and prosperity your way!! 🤗💕
It is so important to sacrifice and save long-term. We never like to think about illnesses and/or getting old. Time goes fast so prepare but better a late start than no start!

I just ran across your channel sis! You have inspired me to start a saving jar starting with my next paycheck. I’m so tired of living pay check to paycheck and not having anything available in case of emergencies. I say save until Jan 1 2020 if you wanna spend it go ahead bc at that point you would have earned it! I bet if you save for another 6 months you’ll be looking at close to 4000 if not more.
