- 🔴BEWARE🔴 CS2 Has "banned" the use of snap tap, and config files. It won't insta VAC you, only kick you from the match but Valve does not allow the use of SOCD in their game, I do not recommend using it in CS2 any more. I do still use it in Valorant and Overwatch and it is completely safe for those games.

I also forgot to mention, it does not add any significant delay to the key presses if that's a concern to you.
There's no risk of getting banned, use without worry.
1st, it's not modifying the game or giving you a significant advantage.
2nd, Razer and Wooting offer it via software too anyway, no game is going to ban you for having a keyboard that's too good.
This software allows you to have SOCD(Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions) in "last win" mode, if you read the message it will say it's the only option available for now, but that's not a problem since it is the one we want to use in games to have an easier time jiggling.
I showcased it being used in Valorant, but It works with any game like CS2, Apex legends, Overwatch.

@naufalrazzaqsusanto There are 2 things I would like to do, First: Use for 30 days and see the results, second open a ticket and only mention the use of SOCD and explain what it is, I expect mentioning software they would give a blanket response saying that any external software might lead to a ban.

@@M3TISIAN if left uncontrolled it can be an advantage, its tournament standard to have SOCD cleaning so when for example you press A and then D it will prioritize D over A so similar to Snap Tap

I will wait a few days to see if anyone gets banned from this, especially Valorant. Back in the day, custom colored crosshairs would get people banned, and simple things like AHK to help automation of tasks would get you banned even if it wasn't running.

@@broskiebro3898 Well to be quite honest, even the snap tap/SOCD isn't so "hardware based". They both use software to do the exact same thing, just SOCD/snap tap are "official" and come premade for your keyboard. Whereas, a random script will try emulate the same thing. On paper if one is bannable both should be, but that's in an ideal world.

yeaa thing is this actually CAN be considered cheating in games since this is actual software you have to run to get this input. same with winexp and similar things, it's probably going to get removed. while of course these keyboards can be considered cheating as well, it's on the keyboard and not actually running on your computer, so there's no real way to stop it. unless people find a way to flash their keyboard in some way to get this type of thing, but it'd probably need hall effect switches

I'm on the side of games having a setting where you can change the socd to last win by default.
@@blwh not veryyyyy significant but removes a big part of the skill ceiling to be the best in said game, of course, if other aspects of your gameplay aren't good enough this keyboard/software won't mold you into the best player ever, but to those who were already good it gives a pretty decent edge above other players, imo.
Just a warning most games or tournaments do not allow the use of scripts to do this type movement, often called null bind scripts. ESL for example only allowed it if it is mechanical like razer or wooting’s methods

I didn't get banned tbh I used it for only 4-5 hours. But after a while the effects wasn't huge for valorant so i just didn't use it, having yet another program running in background is just not for me. But for movement games like apex or OW it could be more worth it.

I think the only reason companies like valve dont allow scripts is because how are they supposed to tell the difference between snap tap and some other unfair script, i really do wish they would allow it though considering people who can afford the keyboards with snap tap or wooting get it. Nop, use without worry. Lots of malicious people saying it's bannable to keep it for themselves but there's no need to worry. Much like using RawAccel on your mouse.

Just close and delete it, it does not install anything on you pc other than creating a config file in the same folder.

If you're experiencing issues with your SOCD cleaner not working, it might be due to using an AZERTY keyboard or any other layout besides QWERTY. Fortunately, this is an easy fix.
Here's what you need to do:
1. Locate the file named `socd_vXXX.conf` in the same directory as `socd_cleaner.exe`. In my case, it's `socd_v008.conf`.
2. Open this file using Notepad or any text editor.
3. Replace the following values:
- In the first row, change `41` to `51`.
- In the third row, change `57` to `5A`.
4. Save the file.
That’s it! If you need more details, you can refer to the tutorial [here](github.com/valignatev/socd?tab=readme-ov-file#beta-custom-keybindings). I've simplified the process for you-enjoy!

CS2 has banned snaptap so the game will automatically kick you for automation
I only saw the news about it now, I have updated the description to reflect their decision. Other games are okay with the use of socd and I'll still keep the video public. I don't see SOCD as any significant advantage or cheat in games.

that's like saying if you cheat in games with software you should be banned but if you cheat using a DMA card you are fine because that one is on the hardware.

I ran it through triage because I dont trust files like these and it modifies registries. idk if it's a virus or not because it flags it as ransomware, adware, and spyware

In cs for example you get banned for ALLOWED console commands that do that so i would be careful using THIS software and wait until official software from the keyboard manufacturer gets released.

how can i get the "alternative fully pressed behavior" feel, cuz rn socd feels unnatural to me, i feel like ive learned val counter strafe too much, that i dont even play good with socd, like I rely on the stopping of the D, and when i do it on socd, i dont let go bc its how i learned it, and i cant unlearn it, but this "alternative fuly pressed behavior" on wooting keyboards have this option where it makes it when ur intentionally holding both keys it stops, and when u let go of the other for a lil bit, it goes, idk if yall get it
Thats rapid trigger u want then. Not snap tap. Best is combination of both. Sadly u cant get rapid trigger unless u get a keyboard with adjustable height trigger on the switches

So I can buy an IROK keyboard with 8k polling rate, rapid trigger and download this, and I'll have an aluminum 60% keyboard with arrows that sounds a little bit better than Wooting for half the price of both wooting and Razr.

Yup, just open and it should work. You don't need to change anything on the interface because it already comes set up in the correct way for most games.

Don't use third party software for that, if something is done on software level not on hardware level which is the case of SOCD/snap tap you will get banned by vanguard permanently for third party software.

@@blwh should or should not its not up to me and you, something implemented on well known keyboard that many pro players use won't get you banned, but something that works like Autohotkey script will definitely get you banned at some point, that's how it is. Sure it's not fair, but Vanguard does not care about it and will just perma ban you for 3rd party and good luck getting unbanned or explaining that to Riot support that it's the same as "wooting"/"razer" snaptap. I just spoke with gamerdoc about it and he said anything that is working like script and its separate software is bannable, might not be immediately but can def get you banned if not now in the future

@@zEMM_1939 I understand, but all this big companies such as wooting/razer talk directly to developers and people that allow them to add this, if its done by 3rd party software there is no guarantee that you won't get banned. Many stuff can be done with autohotkey but that's literally the easiest way to get banned in Valorant or many other comp games.

You need to have it running in the background for it to work, if you close the window it stops working. I find that to be a feature since you won't forget it running when not playing anything, you can filter it to only work on your games of choice but it was a little too advanced to showcase in a short tutorial.

It's a huion kamvas 22 plus, it's used for digital painting. I usually have it in front while I'm not playing anything, my gaming monitor is in a articulated arm so it's easy to move the display under it

Pretty sure you need the program running whenever you want to use it. This won’t install anything onto your kb’s firmware or something of that sort, so you will need to see what the rules are like at the LANs you go to

Wooting Keyboards and Hunstman V3 Pro are still a abit expensive, Just wait for a couple of months and other Keyboards will start to pop-up with this feature.
Plus i don't think valorant would benefit the same as CS2, Unlike Cs2, There is no momentum on the movement in valorant, you stop and have 1st shot accuracy the moment you let go of the A or D key.

You can now add a binding to ESC key and have a disable binding - a key that you can hold to suppress SOCD behavior
You can bind it as a disable toggle, but I don't think it's necessary since you can just close the window if you're not using it any more.

It's a toggle key to disable it, but there's no need to bind it. Just close the program.

I've seen some people having problems to have it working, you can try running it as administrator(right click, run as admin) to see if it will work.

Thanks bro! FUCK 400 dollar keyboards. If they even THINK about banning us we should get a warning instead and they should put procedures in place to detect the expensive keyboards that have these features and then ban/give them a warning also.
