The word that comes to my mind about this house is "pristine". The basement is somewhat spooky.😮

Watching my video, it sounds like I said Sharon, PA. This property is in the Sheraden neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Sharon is much further north!

Why cover up the fireplace? I will never understand that.

This house looks like a flip property. If I were looking to buy it, I would hire the best inspector I could afford, and have it thoroughly gone over. The floorplan is charming, and the finished walkup attic is cool. But, tbh, I've seen much better condition basements, finished and unfinished. I guess the Pittsburgh Potty is no longer running? I would have given the basement some much needed tlc, and finished it, or semi-finished it. I especially would have gotten the basement bathroom working again.

Why did they cover up the Fureplace in the room with the so called accent wall ?

I don’t think it was intentionally to cover up the furnace. I think they were planning on putting a bathroom in the other side. You could still access the furnace around the corner, but it was dark over there so it made it hard video.

Way too much blue. I would have kept it all white so someone could put their own stamp on it.

I'm sure the next happy owner will put their own stamp on the house and really make it their own. Have a great day!

@@joniweaver646 I think one of the most fun things my buyers do is repaint a home after they purchase it. It’s a great way to make the space your own.

That creepy basement was a real turnoff for me!

Hi Darla, you are right this basement was a little bit creepy. Pittsburgh is a very old city and so especially inside the city limits our houses can have very old foundations. Those basements tend to be stone, dark and sometimes have water issues. It definitely adds to their creep factor. In this particular basement, it didn’t help that there wasn’t a lot of light, so it was hard for me to video. I’m sure the new owner added additional lighting in the basement to solve the problem. Thanks for your comment.

Oh dear... that's the ugliest wall paint I've ever seen. Completely inappropriate... and difficult to define what that actually is. Gray? Blue? Turquoise?

Thanks for your comment. It's mostly blue but I know it's not everyones favorite color. It is better when what was there before. The seller put a lot of work into the home.

Nice house but that basement is ugly!

  • @Sylviasdaughter-po8we

Horrible color, the fact that there is no tub would be hard for a family with small children, looks like someone found paint and ugly carpeting on sale.
