Well I am not happy with the absence of abs and tyres.Otherwise it's a better option and handling is awesome except turn lock near 70°

India is the only country where people talk about mileage and for some it becomes a deal breaker I would blindly buy a duke 390 if petrol rates were not this higher

hi i am planning to buy this. my purpose will be mostly city ride and occasional long tour. how bad is the breaking i want to know.
I have test drived this bike.. it is having a good brake.. i was moving at a speed of 60 to 70.. suddenly one eicher took a right and i could stop the bike very quickly.. may be if we go beyond 80 to 100 it wont stop.

Ns 200 white is the best option at any segment till 600 cc. Everything is good about the bike the average , speed decent 125, no lag at any rev limits, sounds is good almost any bike at it's price range, braking is Fab, also looks is timeless white colour, it's services are also cheeper unless you are not a hard core rider who want to ride only track at high speeds 150 plus the ns is the go

Is it common or rare?
Before buying i was extremely confused between Duke 200 and 250 . I ended up buying 200 and i love it . Its has that youthful exuberance which is lacking in 250 . The design is a hybrid of offroader bike and streetfighter bike which is unique to KTM and the urgent gearbox makes you engaged (if you want to cruise then buy cruiser) .

I'm 5"7 and bought duke 200 bs6, pura pair zameen tak nai jaata but ride araam se kar leta hu manageable hai, starting me you turn thoda carefull lena because of height issue kuch din baad use too ho jaayega woh bhi
I just hv 1 query that in xtreme traffic of kolkata of daily commute of 100km/day.. in summer.. how much reliable.. I dnt rev hard, calm rider, but tour 500-1000km 2-3times a yr.. pls. help.

Bhushan Rao but....i really feel abs as an important factor which favours dominar whereas the factor favouring 250 is ..that its a KTM
Agar quality chaiye to ktm or agar cheap plastic chaiye to dominar

Ktm has 30ps power nd dominar has 35 but life is more in ktm as compare to dominar
Nd my suggestion is that ktm
Smooth engine, Mostly for regular riding, Better mileage , ABS = Dominar.
Hard Revving , Cruising on highway, Better Power Delivery = Duke 250.
I myself own a 390 Duke (2016) the KTM Duke's do a crisp throttle they are just for hard acceleration. You can buy a Duke if you can't control yourself to not to ride hard in city. Riding camly give the better mileage. But in traffic they are worse.
You should go with ktm only if you like it for what it is. Go with dominar if you want options
Pl be economical on time and less repetitions of the same details, then you will have more people checking your videos.

If u ride long rides and want power better to go Duke 250
FZ 25 is more practical options as compare to Duke 250 as Duke dosent offer much according to price in Duke 250 and fz 25 is very smooth and better suited for daily riding purpose and if touring is the main purpose and have budget then Duke 390 is more value for money.
mahfooj khan if youre on a fz budget you probably cant afford a d250 so why dont you stfu coz the fact that youre compairing a cummuter bike to a performance bike shows how knowledgeable you are
chitz bhardwaj lol no need to do clickbait bro, i was sharing my experience as i have rode both the bikes and my priority was different and i have selected fz25 according to that and for ur info duke 250 is no superbike that ppl cant afford it, its just the requirement and ur usage and always choose the bike according to that so answer to your non required reply us i had the budget but according to my needs i found duke 250 overpriced and i have chosen fz25 and if we go for duke 390 it is value for money bike but i didnt require that much tech and power and yed i didnt have the budget for duke 390 but still its best bike in 400cc segment so instead of duscussing things in well manner dont behave like a westerners bcoz u r not so no need to overreact. if you have ur opinion then other people do have as well.

Wat about heat complaint ?
It gets very hot in traffic because the pipe is routed very close to where your legs would be. But it's manageable if you're wearing riding pants or thick jeans and boots/hi-top shoes.
i done 25k on duke 250 ! i won one if the first 250duke in india! so i can explain more about the merits n demerits of the bike

Mileage was not 30. It is less than 25 in cities and on highway 28.

vikram kulkarni 250 highest mileage is 38.3 (vlog done on first city to highway) and dominar highest mileage is 32 on highway only
Irrespective of what KTM thinks, this bike has been a failure .. the sales number have been very poor.. without ABS and the tech that comes with 390 , the bike is overpriced by a fair amount. I just hope that KTM notices the poor response this machine has got from people and does something to address it

entrepreneur the boss fair enough.. we all have our reasons .. I cancelled on buying this because I find it overpriced by a fair margin.. in any case there a lot of people like you and me who wanted to but didn't buy this bike .. I hope KTM comes to it's senses and does something about it
@@thethrottlehead502 it's basic business. If they add abs in it then people won't but the 390. I own the new 390 and what I do is daily travel and touring. 250 suited me well and would have bought it but I had to buy 390 because of brakes and abs. If they added abs to 250, the sales of 390 will get short by 70%.
@@automonk1676 fair enough. But it's very poor marketing decision by them . If they kept ABS out of it intentionally, they should have priced it better .Considering what it has , there is no way in earth that a 50k price difference between it and something like FZ25 could be explained. Like I said, sales number speak the story. 25 has been selling like hot cakes since its launch while the KTM has been barely moving

very weird. you indian said duke 250 overprice, but in Indonesia duke 250 is on of the cheapest 250 on the market. with abs, metezeler tire, WP suspension it cost around 2.52 laks. very bang for the bucks. *fyi the 390 cost around 4,85 .
Our version dos'nt gets an abs and is equipped with mrf tyres. Not that overpriced i would say but if you have little flexible budget 390 is more vfm.

Sometime I visit local market with my mom in 390 Duke (2016), she sits as any women sits in normal bike but I need to drive around 20-30 KM/h

sounak mallik I used to do 50 kms in a day in traffic, in summer. Never faced that issue on the 250"
Could be a issue with radiator fan, I had same issue with my 390 got it fixed after radiator fan replacement, now no problems
