I read that you do your own independent day trips in each port. I found princess cruise trip very expensive, especially as we are Canadian. Any suggestion, happy cruising, Jollean
Thank you for sharing this video. My husband and I will have R733 on our cruise in March. We got the upgrade for free because we were reserved as guaranteed deluxe cabin and they upgraded us to the premium deluxe balcony. Being able to see our room prior to sailing is awesome.
I just watched your series of your UK cruise and enjoyed it very much. We are doing a similar cruise with Viking in September, so it was interesting to see some of the ports we will stop in. I was especially interested that you took so many independent tours. I have done a few of those, but I'm always a bit nervous to not take a ship sponsored tour.
Thank you for the video. We are booked in A739 for next June. Your balcony looks to be twice the size of those on deck 12. Good to know that there is no cover or privacy. Surprised not to see a "kettle" in the cabin. I thought that was a standard for all British cruising. After our cruise in June, 2024, I will add a stateroom tour to my page. I did an aft balcony on the Caribbean Princess and it was FABULOUS, (VIDEO on my page). Thanks for adding me to your FB group. I am really interested in the tours you did. Starting to plan in earnest.

We are considering the Regal Princess for a 33 night TA in 2024 or a 31 night TA in 2025. There are no aft balconies left on the 2024 sailing and I notice the balcony size on this cabin accomodates the "lounge" chairs. The other balcony videos we have seen on either side of the ships (even the mini suites) are much shorter and barely a chair fits. Trying to decide. We really have liked the aft balconies we have had on NCL and RCCL. Any thoughts why this might be?
It's the nature of Aft Balconies vs port and starboard balconies. And sadly, they often sell out early. We were very lucky. We had a client who did the TA this past September and loved it. The Regal is one of our favority ships!
