The fact that Serena would (in John's opinion) rank 700th on the men's tour is testament to what a great tennis player she is. There are not that many women out there that can rank 700th among the men, no matter the sport. It was actually a greatly misunderstood compliment.

I'm a female karate instructor and even I wouldn't want to spar with some of the male kids I teach, offhand I can think of at least 10 male kids who could probably beat me just because of their physical strength alone 😂 ( I teach ages 4-early teens)

If female athletes can get disqualified for sports for having too much testosterone, trans athletes should also have to follow the testosterone requirements.(right now the do not, hence the major advantage)
The problem with using hormones as some sort of guideline for transgender athlete's is that it really isn't that cut and dry. If the Rock went on estrogen and testosterone blockers yeah he's going to loose a bunch of muscle mass , but he'll still have his original build, larger more robust bone structure, bigger hands , thicker skin, and everything else. a lot if people pushing for transgender women to be able to complete with biological women like to pretend that just because you have suddenly reduced your testosterone levels your physically the same a a woman , which I think at some level we all know is false.
I do feel for trans athlete's though, hopefully there will eventually be a system where they can complete with other trans athlete's, either that or have a open gender sporting event where anyone can participate.

Exactly, I compete very highly in Tae Kwon-Do, MMA, Boxing and Cage Fighting and am a cis 16 year old girl... Every injury I've ever had came from training fights with the 16 year old boys. It's a clear genetic disadvantage and in a competition environment where adrenaline is running high and sometimes you forget to control how hard you are hitting your opponent. If one of my male teammates hit me the way the hit other boys at competition, they'd break my nose easily, probably give me two black eyes and most likely knock me out. It's just fully unfair to say that I should be competing against a transgender female when this is the case with most biological males in sports 🤦♀️

@@grifcheese1076 Well, I'd join a boxing club or a personal trainer who boxes or does cage fighting. My PT does both and he enters me into competitions for it through him, but you can do it in an actual club and they'll enter you along with your other teammates. A PT and a club will do the exact workouts you need to get better, lots of drills and mock fights too to get you up to speed quickly. :)

The people who push for trans in women's sports are NEVER athletes, I've noticed. If they were, they would understand how wrong this is.
When I was in high school I wrestled. Occasionally we would need to practice with the girls. I at the time was 6’ and weighted in at 270. It was my first year wrestling and they put me up against this girl who was a talented wrestler, she was a heavy weight who went to states 2 years in a row. I slaughtered her when I hardly even knew what I was doing because I was significantly stronger and faster then her. She never beat me once and she even got frustrated that she was put up against us because she didn’t stand a chance, it didn’t matter how much better her technique was. She would try and toss me and I wouldn’t budge. Plain and simple. The fact that people are confused about this is flabbergasting.
Answer their question with this question:" what's the point of female sports, why should we have women's sports to begin with if there aren't any differences?"

If the person is actually trans and went through the hormone transition (on meds for at least a year) they should be fine to compete. Only since they would have the same hormone levels and the body rearranges itself to be almost the exact same.

It's because of a slight over correction though, at the moment I have less testosterone in my body than almost all women and I have roughly 1.5 the amount of estrogen.
At the moment, I look more like a girl than my mom (or so I hear😂) my bones even changed shape and now I look exactly like my grandma when she was young apparently

I agree with the 5 signs someone isn't listening except "is you done". I have tried debating with a few women and I will sit and listen and I will wait after they stop speaking for 2 reasons...1)to give them time to finish any thoughts 2)to give me a pause to think of my answer. A few women will pipe up with "don't you have anything to say"" or as soon as I start talking they start talking so I stop because they are not going to stop. The process starts again and I start and then they start. After a few attempts at this I will say "are you done" or "can I respond now". Guaranteed these are the same women that will tell me "just because I can repeat word for word what they said doesn't mean I listened to them". Now as for what the woman did with Peterson was wrong by changing everything he said and said "so what you're saying is". If you do not think you have what they are saying understood correctly then say instead "OK, this sounds to me like..." That way at least you are acknowledging that it can be your way of thinking that is causing the translation error or perhaps they are not being clear. Jordan Peterson is a very careful speaker. If you watch him he never responds right away. He takes a few seconds to pick his words carefully. What he said is what he said. If he said 1+1=3 then that is exactly what he meant to say. Sport should be separated by sex. Men and women are different. The gap between Bolt and Flo-Jo is huge. It shouldn't be offensive to admit that men are generally bigger and stronger and that although there are exceptions, exceptions prove the rule not disprove it. Save women's sports. NO MALES whatever surgery, drugs, or feelings they have. Lowering testosterone levels doesn't negate advantages from male puberty
I call Bull...women just don't train hard enough to be considered the best. Competition isn't about fairness. Entertainment sports is about money, and pushing for fairness creates more events to sell tickets too, which is why anyone is even talking about this. This mentality keeps women as second fiddle and prevents them from even trying to become the best.

bro.....I have a 100m PR of 10.90s and a 200m PR of 22.63s.....Im 19 and I will never even sniff the olympics for men but if ran those races in the women olympics my times would be among the fastest in history....the 100m qualification for the women olympics is 11.12s....the 100m qualification for the NYC public school athletic league high schools is 11.10s......it isn’t just at the top, even males who are far from world class athletes are in some cases comparable to the top women athletes in the world obviously there are women who are faster and stronger than some men but overall the gap is huge

It doesn't matter if the testosterone levels of a trans female have gone down after hormone treatment; their body structure remains physiologically male: stronger, faster, greater ability to build mass, etc. It's an unfair advantage. Period.
As a female, I don't see how transgender rights equate to women's rights. It actually pisses me off as someone born a woman; I didn't get to choose this. I don't have a problem with people doing whatever the fuck they want to do with their own bodies, but a trans female is NOT a woman. There are simply massive differences that factually remain.
