I saw two young ferrets at the pet store absolutely adorable playing together and I pet them and they were really sweet. Im starting research to see if they are for me. I dont agree with most pet stores but mine seems to care for the animals pretty well with decent enclosures. I dont buy from pet stores just like looking.
Don't know if you already got them, but a pet store should be your last resort. There are many ferrets that need homes. I would look on Petfinder or Craigslist.

@@cyan2439 yes, but when you buy an animal from a pet store, it makes the pet store have to buy more animals from the mills that they can them from. It's a chain reaction.

Q&A -how long did it take for your ferrets to get used to you when they first came home?
idk if she replied but 9/10 ferrets are fearless and extremely curious so unless they’re BABY babies they won’t be scared of you. but i’d say they start to love you after a few weeks if u tru hard enough
I dont have any ferret (i have 1 hamster and 2 rabbits) but i love seeing small pets videos such us ferret chinchillas and other.idk i just relax when i see them

It depends on the demeanor of both animals. There's plenty of ferret & dog/cat videos, even raccoon.
I say no my ferret was eaten by a dog.... I don’t recommend a dog and a ferret, also they have different behaviors so they can’t really understand each other.

I had 2 ferrets whilst having a dog,my dog is so sweet she never barks and wouldn't hurt a fly. They did fine together but like other people are saying,it depends on the dog.

Do you do a raw diet. How do you keep your room clean
A couple of questions (I've never had a ferret so I know very little about them) I was thinking about getting one but i'm not to sure.
1. I've heard from a couple of people that they stink. How do you get them to smell a bit better?
2. Are they able to live with a cat? I have a very high energy fairly small cat, I was looking at finding her playmate since she gets bored easily and has all that energy to burn.
3. How long should they been in there cage?
4. Can the ferret go outside to play or do they need to be kept indoors?
late reply idk if youre still interested but heres what i know.
1. the biggest thing is descenting them which removes their stink glands, spaying/neutering also reduces funk but ferrets naturally have a musky smell to them due to the oil on their skin. if you bathe them too often it can make it worse.
2. its not reccomend to keep any animal with a ferret other than another ferret. it poses a danger to both animals, but there is a small chance that they can bond with each other but only allow them to interact under supervision.
3. its reccomended to have a ferret out of their cage for at least 6 hours a day, if you have a large cage with lots of toys they could stay in longer but its important that they get out every day.
4. they would enjoy outside time but its much safer to keep them indoors due to predators and diseases they could catch. if you do choose to take your ferret outside make sure its on a leash and in a safe area.

Can you demonstrate a day how to take care of a sick ferret or when your sick how to take care of them and make sure not to give them your sickness while handling them. Because my baby ferret has a runny nose and I’ve also been feeling sick I’m going to the vet this week but I’m just kind of overwhelmed on how to take care of him. Me and my family also think I’m allergic because I’ve just been getting more sick lately but I can’t guarantee it’s my baby until I get tested first.. please show me some tips!
Hi so what I think would be the smartest would be to wear a mask and gloves just in case so you don’t potentially transfer something to them! If you are allergic, change your clothes after playing with them too! Sometimes it’s actually the urine that you’re allergic too. Do you have any boys? I know it sounds weird but my boyfriend is actually allergic to the males urine haha. You should get tested because if you do have one, you can take a daily medication to help it out :)

Ferret could have respiratory infection that’s what the vet office said. And I myself could have appendicitis and have to go in for surgery tomorrow

I love your channel so much and just recommendation you feed wysong which is not good for them so if you can’t feed raw then feed them ziwi peak it is the best I guess dry food it comes in a bag and it’s actually freeze dried meat kind of like squished into a square if you want more information on this food go to pazu and friends channel but I would just recommend that because wysong isn’t the greatest for them.🙂😀

I’ve actually watched her videos per people’s recommendation and haven’t seen her talk once about wysong.. everyone says that but I haven’t seen any proof that wysong isn’t efficient.. the first 5 ingredients are all meat and I feed them freeze dried quail and chicken with raw egg as well.. if someone could send me actual evidence against wysong then I’m completely open to it
Personally I would not feed your ferrets wysong but it’s not the worst food and it’s not the best food and neitheris Ziwi Peak raw is the best but the best dry food is ziwi peak but your ferrets seem very happy and healthy they get to free room a lot so it personally doesn’t bother me that much because every single thing else that you’re doing is correct so keep up the good work
Wysong isn’t good because it also has Chia seeds and coconut oil in it and if you watch pazu and friends I think the video is called 10 things not to buy your ferret it will explain why wysong is not good for it because she does talk about wysong you just have to find the correct video I don’t know if that’s the right one but it could possibly be
I just found what video it is,it is called the truth about pet food pazu and friends The video doesn’t necessarily talk about wysong completely but it talks about why kibble is bad and wysong is kibble ziwipeak is not kibble it’s freeze dried meat
Not trying to discourage you there your pets you can do whatever you want with them I would say that ziwipeak is the best dry food for them and I would say wysong is the second best you seem like you’re doing a good job You free room your ferrets pretty much all day and I love your channel to death

How on earth do you keep those expandable tunnels to stay expanded! Mine keep shrinking up
Yours is new. Over time, the metal coil will lose its tensile strength, & loosen.

@@j.cunningham8721 Also, when the tunnels get old, the coil tends to break free of the plastic sheath at the entrance. This could poke a ferret's eye out. I just wrap it with duct tape.

Ferret proofing is basically blocking any openings that a ferret can put its head thru. Best materials are cardboard & duct tape. Like under cabinets in kitchen/bathroom, around fridge & stove, dryer vent, lazy boy chair, window screen, gaps in walls. For gaps under doors, Home Depot/Lowe's sell door sweep for $5.
Can i still have a ferret od iam a vegeterian . I Heard that on they diet they need to eat raw meat , and im not sure if anyone in my house can do that bc all of us dont eat meat . I wouldnt have a problem with giving my ferret meat in her food . Ive been dreaming about ferret for 5 years now and i want to know if that would be a problem if i just dont give her ground meat in food . Pls help me i will really appreciate it

Hi! I’m a pescatarian so I don’t eat meat either, only fish but I still feed them meat! You can also feed your ferret freeze dried meats as well :) you just have to purchase their food for them of course. Also, I’m Polish! I have family in Poland! How cool is that?
