When I was an elementary student, I watched my father beat this mission using this same exact way. Lion can climb walls, keep and towers and freely entering gatehouse is a bless and a curse at the same time.

@@xxlCortez were there even lion in england? And bear is not easy to take down with bow. Sometimes it took multiple shot to even bring it down. Only a very precise shot will and a bear is a moving target.
The first time I played this mission a single lion entered his castle at the very beginning of the game and sat down at the entrance of his dungeon, killing every spawning peasant. After like 30mn I was wondering why he wasn’t attacking, then I realized his towers were empty and his popularity was stuck at 0, took me a while to notice the lion tho.

you techically cant order, but if you block the keep first and then shoot a single arrow at a lion to wake it up. it will start running to closest targets it can get to... thats what I did to clear the lions from the base when playing properly. I did however take out his archers on keep, so they dont kill them too fast and delay his sword knight camps.. eventually he got rid of them, but some lions kept sleeping at the spawm camp and killing all of his peasants lol... he never used his sword knights to clear these out xD
It's not possible to do this mission this way. Richard starts out with his archers dispersed, not blobbed up in his keep. Also, lions are attacking the outposts, not his castle.

Speaking of lions, is there a way I can beat the Limassol mission? Crusader states, I think. I'm struggling with it cuz I can't build up enough defensive power against the invaders and they come too often.
lmao thats what I did I sent like two horse archers to direct all of the lions on the lord and even when beating him properly some lions made it to his camp and kept sleeping and killing his peasants because I killed the archers on the keep I did that because I wanted to delay his sword knights and take out his two closest arabic camps asap
Wait so. After you blocked off your keep, did anything you did with your cursor actually matter there or were you just waiting for the lions to wake up and swarm the lionheart? That bit with the monks and the archers shooting themselves and the game speed going above 80 though... I mean it's clear you're doing something hella glitchy there
I used a few arrow valleys to kill most of his archers, If I don't do it the archers would be enough to stop the lions! No glitches really, just using the game's mechanics against it

Not sure if you mean siege tents or normal buildings, for normal buildings I just click really fast! (Got used to clicking with 2 fingers) And for siege tents there's a video for it search (How to place siege tents quickly)

No they pick their own target! I blocked my own keep so they don't attack me

Doesn't work with UCP. Lionheart immediately spreads his archers so not enough volleys to kill them before they kill the lions
