In this video we will demonstrate how to remove steering wheel airbag on Chevrolet. This video may help you remove the steering wheel air bag on Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Sonic, Chevrolet Equinox, Chevrolet Trax, Chevrolet Malibu because many of those models will use similar design steering wheel and airbag. All you have to do is plug the plug back in and push in the little locking clip that he spoke of when removing the wiring plug connection, then if there is a horn wire, reconnect or connect the new one and then push the airbag on with the same pressure you would use as if you were sounding the horn and it will click into place and that’s it. Reconnect the battery and it’s done….👍🏼

Epic fail! I have been trying to release my airbag for 20 minutes using this method on my 2013 Sonic. I can hear it clicking when I pry the metal pieces from the inside holding the airbag, but it's not budging! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...
