Today it would have been one year. One year - you and me. But somehow it wasn't meant to be.
Faraon passed away due to a colic on the 26th of September 2018. Exactly 9 months after he joined me. And became my friend. The love of my life.
Now he's gone and my heart is broken.
He was the horse of my dreams.
I could write down a lot but I guess the video says it all.
Faraon - I will carry you in my heart forever.
You will always be a very meaningful part of my life. One of the most amazing souls I got to know.
I will never forget you. And I will never stop loving you.
May you rest in peace you perfect little boy♥

Im away in Florida. Exactly 1 week ago the call came that my beloved Friesian Sport Horse , Axel died back in Connecticut. Colic. I wasn't there to save him. I raised him from a colt...he was 15. I may never recover. He was the horse of my lifetime.
I guess that's the worst thing with animals... you know that one day you will watch them die and you just hope this day will never arrive :(

Es tut mir so unfassbar leid, was passiert ist! Er war wirklich ein Traumpferd und dass er schon so früh über die Regenbogenbrücke gehen musste, ist einfach nicht fair.😔 Was dir bleibt, sind die Erinnerungen an eine wundervolle gemeinsame Zeit und die Liebe, und dass ist doch immer noch besser als nicht geliebt zu haben❤ Faraon bleibt in unseren Herzen🙏🏼

I am so sorry for your lose. It is a literal aching pain in the heart when we lose a horse that is a part of our soul...but he shared his love and life with you, you were blessed.

Just to say, be brave and I share your pain, I lost my old pony (27) last week, I lived with her since 7 years. I just see her, on the ground, with the incapacity to stand up again to live a little bit more, so we give her the peace she needed.. but for the people who stay alive and who have to live with that, It’s hard, time will help you

Dein Verlust tut mir so leid - es schmerzt sehr, das Video zu sehen und zu wissen, dass dieses wundervolle Geschöpf niemals wieder seinen Kopf in deinen Schoß legen oder mit dir über ein Feld galoppieren wird. Er war so ein schönes, intelligentes und charakteristisch starkes Wesen, dass ich mir durchaus vorstellen kann, welches Loch sein Fehlen in deinem Herzen verursacht. Ich wünsche dir, dass du irgendwann damit leben kannst und dass du ihn immer so stolz und wundervoll in Erinnerung behälst. Irgendwann verschwinden die scharfen, einschneidenden Erlebnisse und verblassen wie Narben und auch wenn man immer noch gezeichnet ist - man fängt an, das Positive zu sehen und mit der Vergangenheit zu leben. Ich denke an dich und wünsche dir viel Kraft.

I am crying my heart out. It’s so unfair, so cruel, so unreal... It is hurting my horses heart to just feel your pain. They are such a big part of our lives and give us so much to live for. Each one of every single horse on this earth has the ability to make us feel like nothing more but cared for. Faraon had that ability too. And I can’t imagine he just got ripped out of your life. It’s just so much hurt that comes right trough my heart. I wish you so much strenght in this difficult time of year. I am glad you have this video to remember him whenever you want. And to see him as the flying angel he was, and still is. Take care Emi, I am thinking about you. ❤️

Dasselbe musste ich dieses Jahr auch durchmachen... Ich verstehe dich vollkommen. Es ist schwierig und tut weh ziemlich weh. Ich habe nicht das Gefühl, dass es weniger weh tut aber ich habe das Gefühl, dass es einfacher wird zu akzeptieren. Du schaffst das!

Das ist doch nicht so wichtig, das soll ein errinerungsvideo sein um Trauer zu verarbeit
Und wenn du nichts gutes zu sagen hast, dann sag einfach gar nichts.
Unter einem solchen Video hat sowas nichts zu suchen. Hier wird die Trauer um den Verlust ihres Pferdes verarbeitet und du hast nichts besseres zu tun als sie auf einen "Fehler" hinzuweisen?
Loving Memorial bedeutet so viel wie Liebesdenkmal.
Loving Memory bedeutet liebevolle Erinnerung.
Du weißt doch nicht einmal, welches der beiden sie wirklich gemeint hast und willst sie korrigieren, nur weil zweiteres gängiger ist?
Denk dir sowas das nächste Mal einfach anstatt es kommentieren zu müssen.
