I've recently purchased off Ebay the Ludwig copy of Zeppelin's II. It literally changed the way I heard the album before. I couldn't believe how heavy and dynamic it sounds. Truly night and day different. It was worth every penny I laid down.
Yup, I bought my first RL off Discogs and it wasn't in the condition advertised so I sent it back and got one off eBay that was everything I was looking for VG++ if not NM especially after using the Spin Clean! Well worth the money I paid, it's hard to put a price on happiness!

Contact them and tell them you would like the "Led Zeppelin II Robert Ludwig Cutting Edition." They have stocked both silver pressed and CDR editions sourced from a Robert Ludwig 1st pressing. I own a silver pressed from them and it is beyond words!! If you get one from them, watch your woofers!! The disc will ship from Singapore.
Thanks! Got it bookmarked and found the CD that can be ordered. It would be really great if Bob Ludwig could release it on vinyl as I'd buy one in a heartbeat! I'm sure it would be a huge seller as many people would line up to buy a copy.
This unofficial CD / CDR transfer from Shiyoda trumps any official CD or LP issue hands down, save for the Atlantic original LP, which is at least its equal.
The guy is a legend. Bob's very own test pressing is probably worth millions :)

Just found one in VG+ condition in a bulk buy for about 50¢. My god, it sounds incredible. My other three copies will go in the bins at my shop.

I paid 100.00 for a copy of an RL Zep II pressing. It smokes every other version including the Page remaster.
how far off is the page remaster?
If you can't get an RL or GP pressing the Page version is better than a regular original one.
I wish I paid $100 but I have one now and it makes me happy!

The 2014 re-issue mastered by John Davis sounds as close to the RL version as you're gonna get.

I have two: a VG++ MO I had to pay up for, and just got a CP copy from an unknowing seller...$25
