I get out of that situation by saying "WTF are you saying?" Or if I'm new with the person I just say "heh, Right? I know man" -"So what would you do?" "Dude, I'm horrible at explaining things. I would just have to be at the moment and figure out from there." Now that makes you look like a fast thinker in situations of stress.
What about when you meet someone new, and two seconds later you forget their name? Then while their talking to you, you don't want that person knowing you forgot their name so easily, so you don't refer to them by name. This always happens to me.
Or when you meet someone and talk for a while but then you see them again a few weeks later having not only forgotten their name but also that you ever met them but THEY remember who you are and how they met you!
This happened to me sort of recently. If you can't tell.

Victoria Attis I have the same problem, then someone told me to just ask that person how they spell their name, then you can avoid them finding out you forgot. Problem solved! c:

I can relate to most of those, especially since where I live everyone has a strong accent, so I may ask them 2-5 times to repeat themselves and I stand there looking like an idiot.

Asking for toilet paper is more embarrassing for men than women because it’s basically admitting they have to go #2 but women use it at other times too.
I have noticed that this generation is very awkward on the phone. Its not at all and never has been to me, but I did grow up in the 90's...texting, facebook, is the new communication...so sad

It's because messaging strictly through written words has been around for a much longer time than talking with no body language

I was on Skype asking my best friend if she could spend the night and I accidentally sent it to another friend who lives in Texas.... He said "Umm.... I would, but it would a take a couple days to get there...." LOL
if you text someone the wrong message, turn on airplane mode so the message doesn't send, and when it says "retry?" hit delete message. c: genius

It depends on the phone. If you catch it in time, you can cancel it on most phones without needing airplane mode. Even if you do need that, you must be in a very poor service area if you can see it's going to the wrong person, close the window, go to settings, and turn on your airplane mode before the message sends. I had a phone once that would send the message to the last person who sent you one. It sucked when my phone would say they sent the message hours after it'd actually sent and I have to sit and manually respond to everyone for that amount of time. I would usually just delete those messages cuz that phone had no way of cancelling texts unless you were able to pull the battery out. It's always an awkward situation, cuz you're either freaking out because they saw it, or recovering from freaking out that they're about to.

Awkward shopping moment 😂😂😂, i never feel awkward no matter what's in my cart or how full it is.
Reminds me of a day when I went shopping at the supermarket and then a guy walks up to me and starts talking, not that I was paying attention to what he was saying and we were on the skincare aisle and I reminded I needed to stock up on sanitary pads so I picked up a pack of always and the guy said "aww.....w heck no, what ?" and walked away, my facial expression had "what was his problem ?" written over it after which I tossed the item in my basket and continued my shopping. A part of me still wonders if I did that on purpose.
I went to my friends house once and there was an empty card-board roll of TP in the thing, I pulled out my pen and wrote "WHY!" On it. At least they had paper towels...
Watching in 2020 and the cart judging over toilet paper brings a whole new meaning. 😲😂

man I can think of a lot more awkward things then this. How about being a photographer at a wedding and being stuck with this 50mm lense that makes you have to stand right next the the couple to get a decent picture during the service. And then to make things even worse, you have no way to get to the photoshoot so you are offered a ride with the bride and groom right after the wedding. Please Jordan, why didn't you tell me what to do in said situation? My weekend was really awkward lol

If you want to prevent a text from being sent immediately turn on airplane mode. This works for both cellular texts and internet based texts. :D

Oh, yes. Spot on. This video hits the nail on the head! But one thing I would add is when you say goodbye to someone- but then you start walking off in the same direction!! What do you do?! Make some incredibly awkies small talk? Start walking the other way, away from where you were going?? Just pretend they don't exist?!?!

The hanging with couples one is so true. After my first formal dance, a few couples, plus one extra person came to one of our houses. Problem is the extra was the person my date was in love with. So we had 3 couples cuddling on separate couches, me and the extra on the floor, and my date pouting by lying on the pool table in the next room.
Use Instagram to send messages, they have an unsend button. I have used it. Alot!

Hey guys guess what... I FOUND OUT HOW TO UNSEND A TEXT! Just hold down on a text until it pops up the ,more, button then click on that and hit the trash can in the bottom left corner! Apple didn't level us to die!

Evan Rausch Nope. Whenever you send a text to the wrong person, put your phone on airplane mode really quickly and then don't retry sending it when you put your phone back to normal
Zeyad H yeah but mine sends texts really quickly. Even when I cancel sending, it still sends.
That only deletes it from YOUR screen. Once it's sent, the person has the message. You can't just delete it.
