If this were a Camaro plenty of people would rebuild it. Being a firebird, I doubt it so the fact that you want to save it, more power to you whether it ends up a Camaro or not.

The reconditioned air pump I just bought is trash, so the mechanic needs to tear it back out on his rare days off. $200 for a squeally POS to pump oxygen into the exhaust stream. Automobile engineers need to have their feet beaten with a rubberhose!

I agree Most everything I drive is old if you see the profile picture I have we drive those cars daily except for my challenger
