      The truth is, his many classes with the late Queen and Prince Philip show. He is a quality man who knows a quality woman when he meets one. They are the best role model for marriage for their children. Catherine, James & Pippa come from just that kind of strength, compassion and protectiveness.
      Likewise Harry met his own emotional, immature twin in Rachel, they deserve one another.

    Catherine has earned her popularity by her devotion to her monarch and her country. She was hounded by the media because she and William took their time before getting engaged. She was rewarded by being dubbed waity Katie. Yet she didn't whine about it. She carried herself with dignity. She still does. She understands the huge responsibility she has in raising a future king, while supporting her husband's future as king. Prayers coming her way for a full recovery.

    I have had the abdominal surgery, told everything was ok, only to get the call that the Drs. wanted to meet with me! After testing further, cancer cells were found, so preventive chemo was recommended! I had to fully recover from my surgery, which was about eight weeks, then the chemo started! I thought it would be easy since it was just preventative! I was wrong! It was one of the strongest they give, they want to make sure that they get any stray cells they might have missed!
    I was hospitalized twice after my chemo it was so bad! My treatment was a nine month course! You take a treatment, feel bad, get to feeling better, then its time for another!! That was almost seven years ago! I go every six months for scans, but I fee l great and am back to my old self!
    Princess Catherine is indeed a very brave and wonderful woman, and people need to know it takes time for your body, your mind, and your spiritual being being to get back what you've had to fight so hard to keep!

    For those that don't know, our lovely Catherine was hounded by the press for almost a decade when she and William were dating. By hounded I mean 15-20 paps encamped outside her London home. Uk tv even showed footage of her begging to be left alone. Not once did she give an interview, not once did she complain.
    She was hospitalised during her pregnancies, again she never complained and never went to the press. She is the epitome of integrity and discretion.

They were both very aware of exactly what would be expected of her in joining the royal family and they took the time to be sure she was able to withstand it and ready to take that step. Never been this early before. The Princess of Wales is very hands on. I love her competition with William in a sporting way. She married into the family definitely as a freshman. Through her voyage to graduation she has grown confidence. Catherine has learned from The late Queen and the late Prince Philip. From the late Queen she learned about how to be a Queen. Prince Philip showed Catherine how to be loyal and supportive. Unlike she who must not be named, she knows that William is number one in importance. Catherine does not care that she is number two. They are a partnership. They support each other equally. God Bless Catherine. ❤

It isn't subservience it's just standard in couples - Royal Protocol is similar to that. The person that shall not be named just elbows everybody including H out of the way - & in Fiji & Morocco it was just awful awful - it's embarrassing watching her smash into everybody bc she Must be the First Person no matter what! What I find most fascinating about Catherine is she doesn't seem to have any skeletons in her closet. Nobody's come out to say they were bullied by her, no ex-boyfriends or friends have revealed secrets about her for their fifteen minutes of fame. She had no idea she was one day going to be Queen Catherine, yet she still had the good sense to surround herself with good honest people. This also means she's never had to lie or be sneaky about anything which bolsters the people's trust in her. When the Who Made Who Cry drama came out before the wedding, I had no doubt in my mind that Meghan was the one lying because Catherine isn't the type of person who just goes around making people cry for no reason so Meghan must've done something really egregious or it was the other way around (which turned out to be the case.) Meghan hadn't laid the groundwork to be believed like Catherine has over the many years we've known her.

    Good video. I think it must be incredibly hard for a modern woman - not born into royalty, or even aristocracy - to marry into the royal family, with its patriarchal traditions and restrictions. Women like Catherine are very rare, and we’re so lucky to have her. I hope it won’t be long before she has a clean bill of health.

    For me, one of the biggest things about the way Catherine approached joining the royal family was intelligence. From day one, she understood she was entering a situation unlike any other and fully appreciated that other women such as Sophie had trodden the path before her, so she listened and took advice. The late Queen was apparently also a great mentor to Catherine and her influence is plainly visible. Catherine doesn't slavishly copy the Queen, but it's obvious she absorbed all the knowledge which was being offered to her. (For some character insight, let me recommend the podcast "The Good, The Bad & The Rugby". Hosted by Mike Tindall, this episode features Catherine, William and the Princess Royal. Even for people who don't like rugby, it's a hoot! czcams.com/video/zG3i9UX14Bk/video.html )

    Catherine has taken her time and learned from The Queen about how to tackle public life and duty. She didn't rush on and try to take over. The Queen gave William and Catherine something she missed out on because she became The Queen at such a young age. She gave them time to nurture and raise their family and be hands-on parents. That is invaluable and is so obvious when you see The Wale's children. They are such happy, well-adjusted children. I agree with everything you said Beebs. Hi Beebs ❤I always look forward to hearing from you. Princess Catherine is a such a beautiful role model as a woman, wife, mother, friend and relative to say the least. Princess Catherine’s actions show the love that she has for others. She doesn’t need to tell us, she just does it. I could go on and on. Just like you with your articulate reporting, Princess Catherine did her due diligence to learn what her role would entail. Obviously she loves Prince William so much that she has sacrificed her private life to be by his side. I’m sure the queen absolutely loved her and was so glad that she didn’t have to worry about William. Princess Catherine was willing to love all those that William does, unlike her awful, crass, classless, spiteful, malicious, vindictive etc, etc, nemesis who is finally being exposed.
    Thank you Beebs ❤

    I'm not sure Catherine's quietness is all about her desire for privacy. I think it's because she wants to - and has to - walk a very careful line, and it's one that Meghan refused to walk. That line is, she is not the royal, William is, and I think she's managed what must be a very difficult balancing act so well.
    It is without doubt the case that, in general, we pay more attention to the women in the RF than the men who are actually the royals, probably because we notice their looks, style, grace, dignity - that type of thing. If we see Edward and Sophie attend an event, who are they eyes on? It's almost never Edward.
    Catherine, especially because she is a beautiful and stylish woman with grace, dignity and personality, has the monumental task of managing her popularity such that it doesn't overshadow William's. I don't underestimate how difficult that must be and I suspect the fact that she is quiet and not one for interviews, speeches or pushing her way into the limelight is, in part, just Catherine managing her role such that her husband also shines.
    It's so important that William has attention because he's not a celebrity - he is going to be the head of state one day and must earn the respect of other global political figures and heads of state.
    To see how important this is, just think of how MM used to insist on being the focal point, how she barged her way in front of Harry and how weak she made Harry look - and still does. Catherine knows that her role isn't about her or about celebrity, it's about being part of a system of government of which her husband will one day be the titular leader.

    • @cindyblount8621
      @cindyblount8621 Před 2 dny +4

      I agree with almost all you very well-said, but, I dont' think Catherine is trying to not overshadow Prince William. It's just not a thing.
      They each have their place, it's not a competition.
      And I think Prince William is thrilled, and proud, that the whole world is seeing Catherine just the way he does, and always has, especially as people forget the harrassment she suffered during their courtship and doubts at her being capable of her role.
      Ha ha ha! He knew she was perfect all along.

    • @pennylando3145
      @pennylando3145 Před dnem +7

      @@cindyblount8621 I agree with you that it's not a competition, and perhaps 'overshadowing' was the wrong word - I'm struggling to find the right one! However, I do think the married-in royals have to be aware of who the actual royal is and take a conscious step back. Prince Philip did a marvellous job for all of his married life and there was never any doubt that the head of state was Queen Elizabeth, but he had to be aware of his position in order to accomplish that as perfectly as he did. There was no competition between them, just an awareness of the requirements of their respective roles.
      Perhaps another way to explain it might be the way in which royal engagements are managed. If the King has an important event, the other royals will not have one of their own so as not to detract from the King's. They may possibly be there in support of his event, but they will take a step back and not make it about themselves. That's not about competition either, but again about respect for the role of the Head of State.
      That is what I mean when I say that, like Prince Philip, Catherine manages her role perfectly.
