What’s the best bedding for Guinea pigs ??

What Guinea pig bedding does a licensed Veterinary technician/ proud guinea pig owner recommend?
Please avoid all wood shavings/ corn cob bedding. that can be dusty and the oils can be harmful if eaten or just exposed to. Shredded paper from a shredder is not absorbent enough to keep your piggy clean and dry.
Bedding I recommend:
Fleece bedding - needs changed out often but lasts forever. place towels underneath it for better moisture absorption. Can be tricky to keep washer and dryer cleaned . will talk about that in another video.
Guinea Dad liners: discussed in last video. Off brand is done by Brand Expawlorer and I believe they work just as well and are easier to wash than fleece. They are a fraction of the cost of Guinea Dad liners but I love to give business to them because they do a lot of educational outreach.
Products like carefresh and other paper bedding material is good. make sure dust free. can be really expensive to keep buying. fleece and other liners tend to be a better investment. stay away from colored paper or scents. A good option if you live in an apartment.
