The older I get, the more I LOVE Rocky! Honestly, the more I watch it, the better it gets. With such a simple story, its strange that I do like repeated viewings of it- but- this particular movie just never gets old for me. And how it was made, the determination Stallone had to make it & become successful just makes it even better. I love this one!

@@megamikethemovieman perhaps the best Rocky film I've seen since the 1980's is a documentary about all of the Rocky movies & what it took to make them. I believe it's called "Going to fly now "(?). It's about 2 hrs long & shows all the success & blunders that occurred to make the movies. Sylvester Stallone ALWAYS got hurt, BAD while making each one. So much so, it was worked into the plot of Rocky 2 because he tore his bicep but couldn't delay filming. I highly recommend this documentary! If you like Rocky, you'll love it!

Without a doubt Rocky is my favorite.
I saw it in 1976 when I was 13. I'm not sure why but that movie touched my soul like no other movie. After seeing it I went home and told my mom about it and that she had to see it. She told me she didn't want to see a movie about boxing, I said it wasn't, I told her it was a movie about a boxer. That's all I remember telling her. We went and saw it that next weekend.
