- Welcome to the latest MoDXtra: Games & Collectibles action figure review. In this instalment we're taking a look at the new G.I. Classified Series Big Boa figure.
April's arrived and it's gone barmy for figure pre-orders! GI Joe Classified is no exception and Big Boa here one of many that's going to be hitting the channel in the coming weeks.
Big Boa's definitely an interesting one. I've mentioned a few times on the channel lately how I'm feeling more engaged by the wackier, more idiosyncratic side of GI Joe Classified and this guy falls firmly into that camp. "Camp" is the word too - just look at that outfit! LOL
This is a THOROUGH review. It will involve a brief unboxing of Big Boa, an overall view of the figure, and then some detailed thoughts around his aesthetic, articulation, and accessories. (My action figure review Triple A's LOL).
Its exciting to have a continued focus on GI Joe Classified on the channel, and its my hope that if you've been thinking of picking up a Big Boa of your own my thorough review will help you make your decision.

I think the head sculpt is great, since Big Boa is based on a canceled figure of Rocky BalBOA. Another great review! Can’t wait for more!
I LOVE this guy. My brother had him as a kid.. I thought he was just ok… but for some reason.. this guy just keeps catching my eyes on the shelf. I think his blueberry pants would be a great color for a retro cobra trooper/officer.
Big boa was the first figure I got when I was a kid. and I'm loving this classified version got a semi Cobra arena of sport built for him and quick kick to fight him
Im not in a rush to pick him up right away....i think I will wait til he goes on sale since im not blowed away with how he appears. I was kinda hoping he'd be bigger and more bulky,i mean he looks like he has missed a few leg day ( legs looks a bit too thin )
I didn't preorder him but ended up picking him up and have enjoyed him more than I thought
This might well be my top figure of 2024, not just Classified, but overall. Perhaps the 60th Anniversary Action Soldier might beat him, but Big Boa is right up there
He's a great figure and can get some really excellent fighting poses. I found the unmasked head sculpt pretty lackluster and I can't imagine ever using it.
