  • Drone flying over Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada provided some great views to include Kugmallit Choo Choo Park which I liked the best of the three parks there. This was my second time here and I saw so much more with my drone than last time. Best place to eat is the Hospital per a young lady who told me and I even had my dessert😎 Note that all the large pipes you see are utilities running above land. This city has everything I could survive on.
I hope you enjoy and subscribe to this CZcams drone channel while seeing my travels from an aerial view above nature, towns and cities in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia, US, Canada, and several islands @ / jamesbebop . Or please visit my photo website with photos of 49 countries/islands, all 50 states and all but one province in Canada that I could not drive through at www.JGlowacki.com . I love to drive throughout the world whether on the right or left with either left-hand steering or right-hand steering and of course I have become accustomed to using a stick-shift with both hands :) I truly enjoy the great food and discussions with locals where I have been blessed to travel. Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.
Please share your thoughts with me; even if they are not easy to read, I need to know how I am meeting your expectations 😊
    Thank you,
    James

Good video. Inuvik changed quite a bit since 86,87. New Hospital, New sportsplex, New Hotels, New Road to Tuk, Looks like larger development towards North East of townsite. Still have the gravel golf course on south side? They used have betting in springtime (June), when the river would break up. Many Inuit would leave old snowmobiles on river, and betting would be which sled would go through first. Prize $1000.00. If you dragged the river (McKenzie), in Inuvik likely find hundreds old Bombardier sleds. I would fish river for pike often . Catch 5-10 lb pike all day. Thank You for video. Drove from Edmonton to Inuvik in 36 hours. Non stop.

Thank you for this great history of what was more of a wilderness town. That was quite a long drive to make in that time with worse roads back then. I would be there now if I could freely cross the border. Happy you found this video and liked the reminder 😎

Great drone video! Brings back memories of managing the hospital build back in 2004 / 2005. That was a tough project battling the winter, logistics, etc. Still looks good, though!

Happy you found the video. I was advised by the lady at my hotel that the hospital had the best food in town. I went there for lunch the next day prior to going to Tuk. It was good :) I have never braved a winter in northern Canada or Alaska, because I like to hike and photograph animals which means I need daylight.

Not an Earth scientist; however, after visiting the Arctic Circle in four countries I found only the US did not have trees.
