Drone Dawson City, Canada | Yukon | Yukon River

- Aerial drone flying around Dawson City, Yukon, Canada provided some great aerial views of this great old western town. I loved the area I flew from to provide a view of the Yukon River and the ferry system I have used several times to cross. To me this is the last great western city that was built during the gold rush. Truly amazing from here to northern Alaska and thinking how people make the journey back then. While this town does not have the normal hotel chains I prefer, I will promise you the place I stayed was great. It made me happy to stay there both going north and again driving south. I actually thought about walking the waterway and looking for gold, but felt I needed to move on so I didn't. I recommend this for those wanting to relive the past in a town that has grown, but looks like it fits in the late 1800's 😎
I hope you enjoy and subscribe to this CZcams drone channel while seeing my travels from an aerial view above nature, towns and cities in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia, US, Canada, and several islands @ / jamesbebop . Or please visit my photo website with photos of 49 countries/islands, all 50 states and all but one province in Canada that I could not drive through at www.JGlowacki.com . I love to drive throughout the world whether on the right or left with either left-hand steering or right-hand steering and of course I have become accustomed to using a stick-shift with both hands :) I truly enjoy the great food and discussions with locals where I have been blessed to travel. Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.
Please share your thoughts with me; even if they are not easy to read, I need to know how I am meeting your expectations 😊
Thank you,
James - Zábava
This is a serene way to enjoy the beauty of Dawson and familiarize with the streets before visiting. Thank you.
You are welcome. Happy you found my travel channel with over 1,000 videos from around the world😎
@@JamesBeBop Hi
Fabulous! Thanks 👍🇨🇦😎
Truly a city I recommend if you do not want to all the way to the Artic Ocean😎 Happy you enjoyed this video on my travel channel.
Have been there twice 2017,2019 an absolutely magical place. Dawson is a must see when in the Yukon. History culture wilderness and the arts all in one small community.
Totally agree :)
This looks so interesting, a place outside Atlantic Canada I'd love to visit.
I hope you have the opportunity😎 Happy you found my travel channel with over 1,000 videos from around the world.
Hello winter in Dawson City, spring is beginning.👍👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🖐🖐🖐
Spring is when I like to be there😎 Happy you found my travel channel with over 1,100 videos from around the world.
@@JamesBeBop And my journey began in October '22.by car through Georgia to Turkey for one year, in October 2023 I ended up in Canada😊🖐🖐🖐😮
Beautiful area. I spent time in the middle and Turkey. As you see driving Canada is always fun for me in the nature areas.
@@JamesBeBop 😊🖐🖐👍👍🇨🇦
Quite a venture. I have spent time in the middle areas and Turkey. Of course you can see I attempted to explore all of the remote parts of Canada. The Carpathian Mountains are beautiful in Eastern Europe 😎
I miss Dawson City every moment of the day. It is worth the drive from P.E.I. in the spring, and I start missing it the moment I leave. I will be back one day.
Truly one of my go-to old western towns. Love the entire area. Also enjoy your side of Canada. My favorite are always the northern Rockies as I drive through them at least once per year to enjoy all the seasons :)
looks like a eddy made a thick sand bar when the water ran deep
Maybe. Happy you found this video and my travel channel 😎
Oh my heart! I miss this place.... I can see the houses I lived in.
Happy you found my travel channel so you could remember where you lived😎 Beautiful area!

Bonne chance.
Interesting drone footage. Music would hypnotise a moose!😉🇨🇦
Poor moose 🤠
Great video, thanks for posting. We were there in August 2018 and loved the place.
Same time - loved it also :)
Классный городок👍
Я согласен 😎
my late dad spent many years here in the 90’s, my goal is to someday make my way there to check it out
I hope you make it. If I went lower you would see they try to keep an old western town feeling with wood sidewalks, original looking buildings and even the insides of many places are something you would have seen 60 years ago. Happy you found my travel channel 😎
Would love to visit Dawson City one day. Even I have to travel from the other side of the globe. Heard of the place since I first watched the Weather Network 20 years ago.
Greetings from Thailand
I am sure you would enjoy it; especially if you always wanted to see the old west 👏
I was there most of the summer of 2019 hope to get back.
Good luck - hopefully the drive is worth it for you as it is for me :)
How do I get to that overlook from the Top of the World Highway? That is pretty neat to see Dawson City from the West side of the Yukon. I'll be there in 2 weeks.
On HWY 9 just prior to the Ferry going east or top of the hill after the Ferry going west. Also a small gravel road to drive down by the Yukon River if you like. Truly part of God's country about 3 miles in any direction. Are you driving up to Tuk or as written Tuktoyaktuk? This is a great drive for nature :)
I'd like to live in Dawson City
This is my favorite town of all I have enjoyed in the world for keeping the old west theme and originality for all that visit :)
@@JamesBeBop I think is totally different where I live, in Brazil 😎
I know it is and oh so beautiful - your area in on my list :) Just waiting till the mountains are more free to drive and not look suspicious because as you see I like to drive all roads and I want to enjoy it :)
@@JamesBeBop do you live in Dawson City?
No, I live in Texas - love the north for temperature and adventure :)
Hoping for my 1st mining job in april 60 km away from dawson
Beautiful area - stay safe😎
