Practice your throttle in the parking lot. Roll off completely then back on...while turning left and right and discover the things your body and wrist need to do.
Do this until you can do away with power modes.

Not sure if you still have this issue but for the rear cowl head to any auto shop or hardware store and look for some rubber bushings of different thickness usually a kit and some 3M double sided tape you're going to put some under the bridge part where it connects that usually keeps the wobble down some and just add till you find it how you want and mine still wobble sideways so I'm trying to see where to put more bushings to reduce that as well.

Power modes only differentiate above 8k RPM. Below that they are completely the same. It comes down to the right wrist.

Look at Moore Mafia tuning this zx6r. They don't even give you 100% open throttle for most of the Rev range. And the low power mode in the manual says 65% but it really doesn't feel much different like you said. The windscreen is definitely bad, my helmet was being smashed into my face in full tuck.

Hey man I have heard you talking about an R3 in a few of your past videos. I currently have an R3 and am wanting to upgrade to either this or the R7. Could you give some thoughts on what its like to upgrade to the ZX-6R. I am mainly interested in the difference in riding position
This is a whole different beast compared to the r3. It’s heavier, faster, brakes are super touchy, taller, much more aggressive riding position…. This bike isn’t as forgiving as the R3. I actually rode my r3 the other day and loved how easy it was to ride and full throttle everywhere.
I think the ZX6R would be a better upgrade and could be your forever bike . I think if I got the r7 I would end up wanting more power still. Also the 4 cylinder sound is addicting lol
But upgrading from the r3 was really nerve racking and I did crash my first white 2021 ZX6R last year. The power made me feel over confident in going fast, but my leaning skill was not there yet. Definitely should have taken my time to learn the bike. I love the ZX6R so much it’s the perfect bike.
On the rear cowl being loose, look at where it hooks and attaches, maybe you can add some material so it fits tighter. Maybe the spits it hooks to can be bent a bit to attach it down tight. Have done these kinds of things on other bikes. Depending on how it attached a mild mod can tighten it up

I’ve had mine for a week now and thought the seats were to loose too! Question for you, how do you deal with directions? There’s no place to put a phone mount I feel
You can get a quad lock phone mount. I listen to my directions through my cardo

Did you get the bike tuned yet? Once I got my 2020 zx6r tuned correctly F & L mode feel great and more control. Engine breaking is amazing

I originally had Moore Mafia do it for the zx6r then had proven power check and clean it up a bit while on the dyno.
Moore mafia ecu flash was good too
Full power mode is only 50% with all the restrictions. Get that girl tuned.

I just picked up the same bike as yours but a 22’ and my first ride on the highway at high speed I was tucked but still felt like my head was gonna rip off so I 100% agree with you on the windscreen bro.

Yeah I wish it had the same dash as the z900
too expensive, 600 class is suppose to be affordable. its one of the big reasons why people say 600s are dying, the price has gone up on them. I upgraded from a 2018 650 to a 2021 zx6r in teal and I too was sad to see the same cluster as the 650

Low power is 65%
Low power changes nothing from idle to 8000 RPM it just reduces the power above 8000 RPM and yes the throttle is twitchy it’s how these bikes are you have to be smooth. It is annoying

Been working in a different state without my bikes, but I just bought a pickup truck so they will be coming down in a few weeks

1- Headlights are not bright on the sides
2- Windscreen is too short
3- Seat cowl is loose
4- Power modes are not much different
5- Fairings / plastics are loose and cheap looking in the front. Side fairings don’t connect, there is a big gap between fairings

a huge deal breaker with me is that the ninja 650 gets a TFT dash but the zx6r does not what the hell Kawasaki?!
The ZX6R tells you everything you need though and they are two completely different bikes.
