  • The Kawasaki ZX-6R is now in its 26th year of production, which is amazing when you think about it. Released in 1995, the ZX-6R took 600 Supersport to the next level and immediately began to give the CBR600F a hard time on tracks all over the world. After multiple world and domestic titles, the little Ninja is more refined than ever. Some small updates for 2021 have given us a stunning restyle more along the lines of the bigger Kawasaki sports models and it comes in at a great price of $15,199 + ORC.
We spent two weeks road testing the bike, including a day at Sydney Motorsports Park, so check out our review video!

Good to see your face and hear your voice. The sound of the Kwaka is awesome.

Awesome review Jeff! You sounded like a kid back in the lollies shop after a decent brake! It’s made me think about my racing days in the 90’s and chasing Andrew Pitt amongst others. It’s amazing to think that our country, with a relatively low population (less than 10% of America) has produced sooo many World Champions in different categories!! Your lap time was also impressive as it’s on par with what I’d achieved there even though Phillip Island was my home track. 👍😎🇦🇺

I really like this bike! I work at a Harley dealership at the moment and even though everyone is trying to get me on a Harley, I've always liked sportsbikes. This might be what I get.

Can I get an honest opinion please. As an Australian looking at getting a bigger bike after I get my full license. How is it in the city while on the low end of the rev metre

I have the same feeling like only 120HP on the commute road. Schedule to upgrade my bike from XSR900 to spot bike. When I test ride few days ago then there is nothing special feeling for this engine even run over 14000RPM. But the little size and the perfect sound are the attraction.3 cylinders sound can’t instead 4 cylinders 😂

Great review, man. Really well done. Would you recommend this or a '21 ninja 1000sx for everyday riding? I ride every day and everywhere in every weather condition if that helps. Most of my ride is on freeways, between work and home and a bit in the city too.

The quickshifter on mine is instant, might be an issue on your tester
