Update: The 3 bigger compacts open from the upper level as well which I did not realize when filming this video. Lila also comes with BBQ instead of Farmer's Market (duh, she has a spatula on her shirt Kerchie!). Thank you for the corrections!

The bunny and the nursery are my favorite! So cute! Some of the others are weird.
I got a small blue bear compact that I believe is in a group called Pet Connects. It's not the big blue bear purse. It's about the size of the newer pocket world compacts. Anyway, I got it about 2 months ago and I don't regret it one bit. I'm planning on gettung another, and the reason I wanted to get it, was by you, Kerchie! Watching your videos inspired me to get a Polly Pocket! So thank you!
I was blown away when I saw the secret slumber party I loved it and I am still 9 years and Polly helped me alot .

The Pollys can sit in the chairs. Just bend them at their waist, not too low in their body. It's difficult to explain, but it works :).

The first modern playsets did receive some negative reception two years ago, but at least some other Polly pals out there can admire them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Since the 2019 lockets are a slight improvement, I hope the 2021 ones will eventually be almost the same size and quality as the vintage ones.
The more new Pollies I collect, the more I like them honestly! There are some meh moments but overall I like them.
Actually Polly does fit in her chairs as long as you just press her a bit while keeping her hips under the arms of the chair 🤩

I think the big graphic design in the sets is suppose to represent the reality, that Polly is so small, but the reality is bigger. :)

If you don’t know why the graphics on the compact are so big it’s because in the show Polly and her friends have this magical necklace and they turn pocket sized so they are small and the things around them like for example a chair so when they see a chair it’ll be big because they are pocket size I hope you understand what I mean

For the last 3 compacts, you can unclip the top pieces and hook them back in on the “bumps” on the bottom half.

I don't mind that the 2017 - 2018 - 2019 one are kinda bad, because to be fair, Mattel was only starting. Once the got to 2020, 2021 and 2022 they got, wayyyyyy better!

On the bigger ones at the end, the green part to the swing lifts up! Same with the other 2, the color part lifts away from the back!

I love these sets and I have 4 of these tiny keychains. But I think it is a little bit sad that some of them doesn't close very good if you put every accessoires in them. My little Lila from the fashion studio set already has a squeezed leg and arm. But I still love this set
The dolls are too big which makes them hard to close. I had to store some pieces in a zippy bag.
That‘s so cool! I love your videos. Watching from Germany and I‘m 30 years old 😅 with the new Polly Pockets it absolutely frustrates me that they can‘t sit in the chairs! Like..produce something that works! Anyway I think you mixed up the dolls on the bigger ones. Mine has Lila in the BBQ one. And with the bigger ones you can take the things like the swing out and put it on the left or right but I‘m sure you already know that. And you can also pop the middle area out and change the background by putting a picture in it or anything you like. By popping the middle thing out you can use the swing better. So yeah, love your videos ❤️
Oh snap! I definitely didn't know the back part popped out. It doesn't come out easily which is why I missed it. And I did get Lila mixed up. Now that I look closer, she has a bbq spatula on her shirt! Thanks for pointing these out!
They do sit in the chairs :) just put them in the chairs with their waist, not only with their legs. Then it works.

I'm not a huge fan. They seem so much cheaper in style and details. My niece has some and doesn't like them much. I let her have a play of my vintage sets and she loved them.
Sadly, these mini ones are a bit disappointing especially compared to the vintage ones. Some of their newer designs are cute so that kinda makes up for it. :)
