I think her util is really great, they just need to tweak certain mechanics and damage so its not so exhausting doing the rotation over and over for so little payback
Viv is awesome but just as you said. AW Fights and short BG Fights and she needs max sig to rly win fast. And in BG it's all about winning quick as possible. And in AW she is just to squishy. You have to master her 100% to put her in a 3 Champ Team. If you get ine combo...you are dead. So aslong you got Viv max Sig and master her gameplay she is great BUT one thing totaly su*** it's her SP2 hit mechanic. If you not got her max sig you can not rly spam your SP1 and when you go for SP2 and did not get the perfect timing on all the 5 hits then you will not get your Solar Burst dmg and the SP2 is complete wasted. It's not like Hawk Eye or Kate Bishop. The perfect release is easy even if you not Hit the slow motion. And you got help by the blink on the arrow tip to get the perfect release. I got Viv since day 1 of the featured and i managed her SP2 not even once 😅😂😢 that su*** totaly!

The damage is cool but gaining the armor up buffs sometimes ralentizes the process of damage. She's not exactly the most power control champs & i wish that with the SP1 or the SP2 based on the Solar Charges or the Armor Up buffs you can drain like when you do parry. Beyond that, she's cool and a A- in my opinion.
Other thing i forgot to mention is the debuffs she left, the one with less 2 seconds. Is just so stupid that is not pasive like the heal block and the duration, again, is really nothing and no thebest debuff for a champion who drain power, not reduces.
I agree. The suppression debuff is horrible coz it basically only lasts when u don't hit the opponent. But how is that supposed to help end fights faster?💀
@@rebellow the suppression only last for a full combo and again, it's so bad. And now i remember, even if you hit on block the suppression is unpaused so even more stupid coz you can't do the full combo xd
@@frankemann81 Is really not that, is just that you can't drain 30% of a bar of power without doing parry and sometimes is annoying coz, and i think i'm no the only one, the AI is bugged or something and the timing when you try parry is not well connected. That's the problem with her, u need to keep the opponent below 1 bar of power and you only have one method to do that.
I know many people, myself included, who say viv is one of their favorites and she is actually very strong but she is made for high skill players so that’s probably why you don’t get very good results with her 😂
Ton's of people are using her in BG, she shines in BG as she takes very little damage if any in those shorts fights. True she is not good at longer fights, but that was never what she was designed to do. There are quite a few match ups she is fantastic for.

A tip for the sp2. After activating it just tap your block as many times as possible and if you're fast enough you'll be able to get all solar energy

Viv is still a good champ especially for shorter fights. Plus she can be annoying on defense with that consistent power drain.
