This is nice, but for me, the downfall of the club came not with just Sir Alex leaving, but with him the former chairman David Gill. Ed Woodward hasn't been able to write up the same success Gill has. Maybe Gill deeply understood himself that the Glazers were onto something and didn't want to be apart of it. The Glazers putting a businessman like Woodward who doesn't know football says a lot about their interests in terms of the good for the club. Had Gill left and not been with Klopp, who knows if United really would still be successful.

You can't have a player preform like Ronaldo did for the club and then deny him a transfer to his dream club..
