Great physic, shape and extra training for his age, he still has things to offer. I think his mistake was signing to MU. A team with many problems to face and a very competitive league were too much for him at that age. He should have dropped his demands a bit and sign in a less competitive league, like French (as leo cleverly did), German, Portuguese , Italian or even Netherlands in order to secure UCL seasons and a smoother end to his career.
