He was also big beforehand too, the translation comes out very vague to what it actually means, I speak Italian. It's like asking a child in America something like "Look how much you've grown what have you been eating?" but in a way phrased as a joking complement towards an adult.

Yes he is speaking Spanish here due to him saying 'comer' but it's just as understandable for Italian speakers given the phrase and common roots. But the same thing would apply for Spanish speakers!
