We are a Constitutional Republic and until now have had a DEMOCRATIC voting system meaning the people get to vote for their president. The vice president is selected but the President is Elected and the process starts with nomination following primary vote. The democrats (real threat to democracy) ended our democratic system in 2024 by erasing the 14 million votes for Biden and handing Kamala the nomination with no primary votes.
