Cool! I just heard about this the other day and was thinking about trying it...I should have room, I'm running on a 128GB USB stick. Currently I have Pandory, WHDLoad, and Aminimiga set up but this package looks like it may be more suitable and easy-to-use...

@@CrazyBurger - Those PNY sticks that I got from OfficeMax work GREAT on all of my mini consoles when formatted to FAT32 (they come that way in fact), and they were only $16 each! They come in several different colours, so I got one for each of my mini consoles...
If you have OCD this package seems suitable. Could be worth running a SATA drive via SATA to USB adaptor. I know it would run at a reduced speed. These packaged whdloads are huge sizes.
Someone would know how to split it into 3 or 4 hdf files.
Thanks, I would like to play it on my psvita with the uae4all2 emulator that can insert up to 4 hdf files of up to 2 gb each hdf.

Is there way a to change the screen to "full-size" in games? It seems all of them run in 4:3.
Does the zoom function not work? I thought this was added in a recent firmware update.
Version 1.2 is very fast compared to v1. 1. Its still way off for release as I'm trying my best to fix a couple of thousand odd games. Save states will never work as the system RGL uses doesn't support the extra memory and custom config used. I've tried so many settings, but it just won't work. I guess its like real hardware. Can't use save states on that too.

you cannot save any of the games while accessing AGS2 ?
Not as far as I could tell.. not via save states or via Amiberry
No saves states but games that have the save game function (Like The Secret of Monkey Island) will work. Just like the real Amiga.
I have another collection of WHDload games on my a500...save states work just fine
@@VisiblyJacked self added lha or adf games have save states. Aminimiga and AGS2 cant use the in built saves due to the way they work.
I started to play around with AGS2 in PCUAE and on AMIGA Mode with P-UAE but was never able to add game covers to it so ever bothered to finish it, I did add Amiga Mod Music to it in its background but you need to stop it ever time you run a game, I used Hypo Player cause it can play mods in the background and randomly.
When I load AGS2 in THEA500 Mini its not full screen, the menu and game screen is like 800x600 not 1280x720 its in the center, you can see its using the whole screen cause the shell screen that pops up before it covers the whole screen, it weird, its not full screen like on this video.
It's super-complex and requires some serious scripting skills. I played around with the ones Henrik wrote for HSTWB, but most of it was beyond my level of understanding. Think I'll leave it up to the pros like he and Paul who definitely know their stuff!

Yes been happening to my mini quite a bit.. need to pull the power cable out.
I've only got a mac. So is there any other way to format a drive for the Amiga a500 mini for games.

@@CrazyBurger Cheers mate will give it a go. I was recommended to buy a Samsung 64 gb flash drive but have now found out it's too big. I've got 1,000s of Amiga games so would a 32 gb be enough to store those games on. Cheers keep up the good work. Great channel.
@@andyforshaw8489 yeah 32gb is more than enough. There are ways to make larger sticks work but think you possibly need to add partitions to it. Easier with 32gb or 16gb.
Format via Disk utility on mac. Fat 32 - Master Boot Record - so long as usb is 32gb max it will work.
@@muaddib-usal Yeah mate will do. It's been driving me bonkers trying to find a way to do it. But I thought having a lot of games 32 gb wouldn't be enough. But Crazy Burger says it will be so will do it when I find the time.

Probably not but at nearly 5000 it won't be far off.
Missing Empire Wargame of the Century, Starfleet 1 the War Begins, and all the ipf only games.

Cool thing is at least it works with or without the update so thats an advantage. Lately ive been getting sick and tired of the Pandory devs trying to make people who put the update on as if theyve made the wrong move and that its a bad and your mini becomes a doorstop which is BS, you cant force people to put a mod on at the end of the day any mod is optional and should be up to the end user
No I agree its a personal choice. I think upgrading to the latest firmware it's better than being able to use pandory. Be nice to have both.. which you can.. but only if you haven't already upgraded the firmware. I didn't buy the A500 to play anything else but Amiga.. so not having Pandory isn't a big deal for me.

Are the games with trainers?
Most of them will have some type of options prior to playing. The pop up screen appears a few seconds prior to start/load
@@CrazyBurger I see that screen popping of but I can't choose the trainers. Not via Stick and not via Mouse. :(

I have a sad story to tell you all.
My son formatted my micro sd card where I had my games and my friend's "Arcade game selector 2" launcher for my "Psvita" henkaku console with the UAE4All2 great emulator Psvita.
It had "4 hdf files" of up to "2 gb each file" .hdf file with the arcade game selector 2 launcher and the iff games and images.
Someone here that I have 4 hdf "2 gb each file hdf" games and arcade game selector and images of the games in iff format "2 gb each file hdf",, please help, please ,, I can't play my friend's games anymore ,,, my son formatted everything.
