I'm not at all surprised that our PM, the rich man, that he is and obviously isn't and hasn't suffered with Depression, has come up with an idea to make the rich richer and the poor poorer and ill people more ill and suicidal !!
The PM has no idea of what it's like to suffer daily with Depression and anxieties !
I'm so worried now, that he will force me to work, when I'm struggling to deal with my mental health issues and in receive just enough to pay my bills....
I don't drink, smoke, or do any recreational drugs and haven't had a holiday for a very long time.
To be fair, I'm not able to go out my house, never mind go on any holiday.
Perhaps, if our Government didn't give benefits, to the thousands of immigrants, that have entered UK and gave them homes, to live in, The Government, wouldn't have such a problem and British people, would have homes to live in and far less waiting time for much needed NHS care !
Has the PM ever tried to get an appointment, with a mental health specialist or tried to get his name down at a Dentist, that are able to treat him on the NHS !
I have tried for many years, to get on the books of a dentist who would do some dental work on my teeth !
My last visit to a dentist, was during the Covid19 lockdown... An infected swollen abscess, was cause for an emergency appointment, with a dentist on the other side of the city of where I live.. I had to get a taxi there, as my depression / anxieties, restrict me ; I couldn't possibly travel on a bus and being poor, on a benefit, I have never learnt to drive and I would never be able to own / run a car ....
To be honest, with my mental health issues and anxieties, I would be a danger behind a steering wheel!
Rishi Sunak.... Leave 10 Downing street and enjoy your privileged life !
Someone like Tommy Robinson, would make a better PM ; He has lived a life, like many people in UK ... He knows what it's like to struggle...
You and the pocket lining politicians, have absolutely no idea about the struggles in the real life.
You lot are in Cuckoo Land !

If he wants people to work, he needs to tackle the silent discrimination, sidelining, and gaslighting. Also, the skills gap most people create if they are out of work for any length of time. The longer you're out of work and not getting the training to keep up skills, the more irrelevant to employers you become, add a dissability or mental health issue to that; and its demoralising. You become dependent on benefits because of gaslighting and silent discrimination.

People should use AI to debunk BS as I have done.
It forensically examines in detail fact from BS and lists it in chronological order. It couldn't be simpler. Took me 40 seconds
This is the result of the whole PM speech analysis
    1. **Appeal to Tradition and Values**: The PM relies heavily on nostalgic appeals to traditional British values without providing concrete evidence or data to support his claims about the moral superiority of work or the necessity of welfare reform to uphold these values. This appeal could be seen as manipulative and lacking substance.
    2. **Misrepresentation of Welfare Recipients**: The PM implies that there is widespread abuse of welfare benefits by portraying recipients as unwilling to work and exploiting the system. This oversimplification ignores the complex reasons why people may rely on welfare support, including structural barriers to employment and health issues.
    3. **Stigmatization of Mental Health**: While the PM acknowledges the importance of addressing mental health issues, he perpetuates the stigma surrounding mental illness by suggesting that individuals with mental health conditions should be expected to work without considering the diverse and often debilitating nature of such conditions.
    4. **Economic Argument without Evidence**: The PM argues that current levels of welfare spending are economically unsustainable but fails to provide detailed evidence or analysis to support this claim. Without transparent data, it's difficult to assess the validity of his economic argument and the necessity of the proposed reforms.
    5. **Lack of Empathy and Understanding**: The PM's speech lacks empathy for individuals facing challenges such as long-term unemployment or mental illness. Instead of recognizing the systemic issues that contribute to these challenges, he adopts a punitive approach that blames individuals for their circumstances.
    6. **Inconsistencies and Contradictions**: The PM's speech contains contradictions, such as simultaneously advocating for increased support for mental health while proposing stricter eligibility criteria for mental health-related welfare benefits. This inconsistency undermines the coherence of his argument and raises questions about the sincerity of his intentions.
    7. **Dog Whistle Appeals**: The PM's speech includes dog whistle appeals to right-wing voters by framing welfare recipients as a burden on taxpayers and suggesting that welfare fraud is rampant. These appeals serve to reinforce existing biases and divisions in society without addressing the underlying issues driving welfare dependency.
In summary, the Prime Minister's speech on welfare relies on emotional appeals, misrepresentations, and unsubstantiated claims to justify proposed reforms. It lacks empathy, nuance, and evidence-based reasoning, raising concerns about the fairness and effectiveness of the proposed welfare policies.

Tory government is indeed pursuing policies that harken back to the harsh and stigmatizing approach of the Victorian Poor Law system.
Rhetoric from Sunak and ministers framing benefit claimants as "taking taxpayers for a ride" and suggesting a "duty" for disabled people to work, echoing the stigmatizing mindset of the Victorian era.
This is proof that Britain has not come out of the Victorian age. Societal attitudes from that time, that blame the poor for their circumstances is ever present.
There are large numbers of children and families experiencing severe material hardship and going without essentials.
The Tory government is pursuing significant cuts and restrictions to welfare benefits, making it harder for people to access support.
There is a clear ideological framing of benefit claimants as "dependent" and a "burden", echoing the Victorian mindset of discouraging reliance on poor relief.
Proposed reforms include measures like making disability assessments more difficult, reducing automatic cash benefits, and giving the government new powers to penalize claimants.
This represents a shift towards a more punitive and restrictive welfare system, similar to the workhouse model of the 19th century Poor Laws.

he is a good actor / salesman. its actually very creepy i never noticed it before makes my skin crawl. he is half right the support should be there for those who can work it is not right now. that help should never be forced. and half wrong as in forcing the mentally / physically ill temp or long term in to work.
( physical or mental labor as a slave against your will paid or not. in most cases will only do more harm to that person. don't try to control people if you want good mental health and government opinion. unless your trying to degrade control force submission to increase your control with threats of loss of resources. resources often already payed with years of work and paying taxes. and to extort resources from citizens. which is what it looks like to citizens.)
maybe lower taxes and set in place a better climb off benefits via work to make even a small venture or part time job pays. and use your heads to make money outside of extorting it from those that cant defend them selves.
( act like a business instead of the mob.)
never try to take away doctors independent opinion based on the best for the patient.
if you want trust in the system stop trying to control citizens and help them instead. this guy is a nut job.
he needs a shrink not to act like he is one.
he needs to be stopped. he will kill people if this goes through.
( i was on a sick note with multiple issues. my self im now a business owner and a psychology student. )
not because i was forced! i had to fight against the government.
my move forwards from barely alive to working in my own business was only hindered by universal credits operatives their need to control me with threats sanctions causing anxiety and pointless meetings to pry in to my business to exploit to sanction and generally take up time i could be using to work .. generally dealing with attack after attack from various government organizations all sharing 1 goal. all leading to further depression.
this guy has not experienced what many face daily waking up to a country ran by over privileged too rich and connected to need the net idiots that want your resources to degrade and put you under their control and will do anything to take them. why ? mostly for their own use and passing it to their friends via pvt companies like the fake ones your told are there to help people in to work. new council buildings and some small gesture like they planted a tree a troth or something to show where money goes. this is the safety net you get after working your whole life paying very high taxes.
( comic book scene.. limbless body on a table on a ventilator 65 years old worked his whole life paying taxes equaling 50% of his earnings 25% before he got the money 20% on every purchase and 5% odds n ends . dwp nurse walks in looks at him and says yeah he can work ! )
( because the government has 1 job abuse control extort resources from citizens.)
( we tax payers are actually paying dwp to abuse human rights in a bid to remove those safety net resources promised to us when they took them from us as tax.)
( when we need it were treated like scavengers taking their money and like criminals. then we wonder why people end up stuck on benefits with mental health issues.)
( but hey this genius says more control more fines more power over them more threat of where their next meal or a roof over their head will come from because they have the right to take it away for ''just cause'' any excuse they can find. and that's the best way to cure the issue.)
he is out of touch and should not be allowed to practice as a psychologist or a member of parliament.) you could say for Christ sake man if u don't know something ask multiple experts and learn. but is helping people really the agenda here or is it more power control invasion in to peoples lives and deprivation of resources)
m.p.'s like this are making our system more controlling and intrusive on people and only take control away from them in their own lives is 1 of a few reasons why we have a mental health pandemic in the uk.
we already treat our disabled and mentally ill like scum criminals in need of sanctions.
is it wise to make those lives worse? you don't pick people up by force. you do it by listening. then acting on their needs to move forwards.
do not let this psycho do it every suicide will be on his head.
it is bad enough we do this to those who can work and are more mentally stable according to a doctor. '' until they experience the job center.. your loving caring government to help you out with some of your money back on drip barely enough to survive let alone heal in exchange for complete submission and giving up your human rights.
    stop controlling start helping.
its only helping if your work effort is paying more than your losses from doing the work.
make work pay and make it scale against benefit losses while climbing off.
someone just arrest this psycho before he hurts more innocents.
can we please please start psych and iq testing our m.p.'s? would that not be wise?
i wonder how many will fall for his brainwashing the its the best route lol. the scary thing is it will likly go through because no one has the intelligence to see the issue. brainwashing within parties. we call this a folly et deux. where the group is mentally ill together. this really explains how a large group of what would seem intelligent people can believe a fantasy bubble world they jointly own. completely detached from reality but props up the belief system that makes their actions ( done with good intent and not self serving at all ) just like almost every evil of any man or woman past present and future.

will there be rules for companies to take people for work? the person may not pass the interviews if a symptom is present that the employer judges the person not apt for the job. Also, many young school leavers were unqualified and so found that work paid less than their benefits and did not take jobs offered. An incentive should be made for a law that apprentices be trained and their wage be above their benefits if they are living at home. Obviously if in lodgings, they will have to pay a lot for that.

A deep sense of unfairness coming from the man that paid circa 20% overall tax on his multi-million-pound income last year, coming from the man whose wife is non-dom and doesn't even pay UK tax, coming from the man that wasn't even voted in by the people of the UK. He is taking aim at those most vulnerable in society as a result of the policies brought in by the Conservative regime which has not benefited society overall, but the ruling class.
He says people aren't three times sicker than they were a decade ago. What about the ageing population? The NHS waiting lists which are far longer than they have ever been all under Conservative government. This past decade has gone from bad to worse and it's any wonder people suffer with mental health. A simple holiday break costs far more to do here than it does to go abroad, bills have increased exponentially whilst earning has not. Even basic food is now incredibly high and to say that falling inflation is a reason for joyous celebration, it isn't; products still cost considerably far more than they did pre-pandemic. Companies have been profiteering that's for certain. Stability in life has been falling for many and Rishi Sunak wants to blame it on the Monday blues. Disgusting.
Oh and he wants to use AI to help determine the legibility of claims. I can foresee how great that's going to be especially with the Horizon scandal.

If "Work always pays" then why is it Rishi that there are so many people who are working have to rely on Universal Credit to "Top up their wages"? To "Make work pay" he needs to focus on employers who "Won't pay for every hour worked". There are many employers out there who "Won't make reasonable adjustments" because they view adjustments as being "unreasonable according to business needs" so they are more likely to hire those without a mental or physical disability. Businesses "Won't hire older workers" because they view them as less productive and cost more than a younger worker. From a business perspective it's cheaper to hire someone under the age of the National Living wage i.e under 22.
