For years I have had a desperate crush on this dude. Especially when he plays these masculine, 'average' criminal-type characters :P I think it's amazing he turned down Batman. He's interested in more compelling work... it's not everyone's end game to just be some blockbuster sellout. It's obvious he is inspired and motived by particular stories and art as I just learned he's heavy into graffiti. He said he still lives in Antwerp... I'm definitely going to show there just praying to run into him LOL. I have the utmost respect for him. Not only is he a smokeshow but as a person he is complex, intellectual, talented... Need I say more.
Yes!! I love his tortured characters. He's a mixture of dark and animal with a touch of vulnerability. Matthias is a fascinating man. I think his own upbringing and experience is even more compelling than his work which is pretty amazing. I love finding more Matthias fans. He's underappreciated and I want him to continue his climb.

Whoa, the host was okay I guess but that other younger guy next to the host was very hostile and passive aggressive towards Matthias. What’s his problem? Matthias held it together very well, but that younger guy kept giving him smart ass responses here and there… it was annoying to watch. Good for Matthias for keeping it professional. He’s so talented and handsome.

Matthias can get to any level, depicting a boy who had abusive parents and fell into a life of crime because that's all he knew. Adele was ok in the film and gave him a chance to improve his circumstances. I liked the film, but the ending was devoted to his mother as she may have passed due to the disease Adele had. It seemed everything eventually went wrong, but it was supposed to be that way. Still adore him.

Some words are different and when we speak in our dialects, they won't get a word of what we say in The Netherlands.
